With the champion system that Bungie has implemented, I can only see one logical progression of it.
Over-stoppa-barrier anyone?
Imagine double or triple modifiers on champions at once. Here is an example.
Over-stoppa-barrier - you need to overload it to stop the health regen and the teleporting, you need to hit it with unstoppable to lock it down and it will also randomly throw up the barrier shield.
This would require more fireteam coordination but now that the champion system has been out for awhile, people have learned how to combat them rather effectively.
Maybe have double modifiers on lower nightfall content and triple modifiers on master/grandmaster/raids.
What do you think?
also....Overstoppabarrier wyverns sound awesome!!!

1 ReplyEdited by Mythic, Harbinger of Light: 7/25/2021 11:08:45 PMUltimate Champions: This Champion cannot be stopped without all 3 Champion mods: Anti-barrier, Overlaod, and Unstoppable. These Champions can also resurrect Champions of a lower rank. Ultimate Champion Details Enemies capable of being Ultimate Champions: Psions (Cabal) Harpies (Vex) Wizards (Hive) Servitors (Fallen) All the above (Taken) Stunning procedure: This Champion will never become stunned like lower ranking Champions. Anti-Barrier shields appear when damaged. Breaking the Barrier shield will not stop health regeneration. Overload grants continuous health regeneration unless being struck continuously by Overloaded projectiles. Unstoppable makes them continuously charge towards dead Champions to begin the resurrection process. Striking them with Unstoppable rounds will weaken them and stun this process, but won’t stop them from reaching their destination.
