A success on both fronts, and you knock the final cultist out. However, SAYU can’t enter the tunnels, you should bring them back to her before they wake up.
-
"Hey, Aaron. Help me out here." He grabs two and starts dragging them out.
-
“Yeah.. Alright…” Aaron says, limping over, and doing his best to grab the other two, carrying them along with him, heading back to SAYU-Mart, where she was already waiting with a few security drones to carry them away with gravity drones. “Don’t worry, you can leave the rest to me, pyun!”
-
"Thanks, Sayu. You're one of the most helpful people down here. Not pointed at you, Aaron. How are you doing?"
-
“Remember that these drones are sent by [Moderator: Kokonoe], and my programming was primarily handled by [Moderator: Aifos]. Don’t give all the credit to the messenger!” SAYU said, making a heart with her hands.
-
"You've been more helpful recently than them. 'Try not to kill anybody.' 'Geesh, Aifos, hate to tell you this, but they don't care!'" He heads for the living quarters. "The story of my life... seems like the goodguys are always incompetent."
-
[spoiler]Sorry for not responding much yesterday. I wasn’t feeling too good. >.<[/spoiler] SAYU put her hands on her hips, and appears in front of your path. “You need to stop being so [mean]! There are lots more [security drones] out there, helping [fight] the [bad guys], and keep [the citizens] safe, and [Moderator: Aifos] is the one [coordinating] them! These [vines] are [messing] with lots of [complicated] [machines], and [Moderator: Kokonoe] has to work really hard to keep [everything] from [blowing up]! And [User: Fukua] is going and making sure [everybody] has [food] and [water], even though it’s super duper [dangerous]! There are lots of [important] [jobs] to do besides just [beating up] [bad guys], and you aren’t doing any of them! So you need to be nicer!” [spoiler]Which residential area are you heading to? Amaterasu’s Gift or Elysium?[/spoiler]
-
[spoiler]AG.[/spoiler] "I just did, in case you weren't paying attention! Also, I'm the one getting shot at, so excuse me if I'm crabby. I just want these.idiots to STOP SHOOTING AT ME!!!" There is a pause before he sighs,."Angry outburst over."
-
“[ERROR: User Unknown] probably [tricked] them. They have probably been [brainwashed]..” SAYU pauses for a moment as well, before disappearing, etting you on your way. Noticing you’re heading to the hotel, Aaron tags alomg with you. When you reach Amaterasu’s Gift, you find the halls empty. The cultists don’t seem to be patrolling here, and the guests have all locked themselves in their rooms. You’ll likely need to head to a room for anything noteworthy. “So, uh..” Aaron says. “Thanks for saving me & stuff. Think I’ll be safe heading back to my room?”
-
"Maybe. If they continue to leave this place alone, you should be fine. If not, joining Aifos would be the next best thing. I'd need to escort you, though."
-
“I think I’ll take my chances here. If they haven’t secured it yet, why would they later, right? Thanks for the help.” He started walking back to his room.
-
"Oh, and kid.... anytime." He gives him a thumbs up.
-
“Heheh, thanks.” Aaron says, continuing on his way, leaving you to finish whatever business you may have in Amaterasu’s Gift.
-
Jack knocks on Rho's door. "Hey, it's me."
-
There’s no response. If she’s home, she’s staying silent.
-
He tries opening the door.
-
When the door swings open, it is indeed empty. Most everything is just how it was before, except for a small notebook sitting on the desk. Its pages didn’t seem to actually be made of paper, and instead almost seemed like some sort of digital interface. It was all written in code, or maybe some sort of alien language, so you couldn’t make out too many details, but there were also sketches drawn in there that depicted some sort of machine. In a lot of detail, too. In all likelyhood, these were blueprints, or possibly a user manual, though for what you could only begin to guess.
-
He photocopies it and pockets it. He then leaves to find an inhabited room.
-
Most of the inhabitants wouldn’t open their doors—either because they were too scared, or because they had signed on with Venus. One of the rooms that did open though found you getting hit in the back of the head with a book, knocking you to the ground. “Back off you freakish-“ Ellie yelled, holding her book up to hit you again. “Oh, hold on, you aren’t one of those cultists. Sorry, my bad.”
-
"No, I'm with Aifos. Been hunting cultists for a while now."
-
“That’s a relief. Thought they were coming into the hotel. Thankfully they haven’t been here since the announcement this morning. I don’t think they care too much for us.”
-
"Some of the residents have sided with them. As much as I'd love to flush them out, I could see Venus using it to make us look like extremists. Here, take this commlink. Let me know if they start causing trouble, and I'll help." He hands her the commlink.
-
“Well yeah, everybody’s freaking out, of course some people listened to her. It’s not like they’re armed or anything—[i]I’d[/i] call you an extremist for that. But yeah, I’ll make sure to let you know.”
-
"Is there anything I can do for you while I'm here?"
-
“If you’d gotten here a little earlier, I’d have told you someone got abducted, but I got a text a few minutes ago saying they made it back. Since you arrived almost immediately after, I’m guessing that’s your doing, so thanks.”
