For too long we rise of iron veterans have been mistreated and abused
Our DLC barely gets any mention, it took Saladin 4 years for him to call us young wolf in D2, and all mentions of Siva outside of scannables had been removed from the game during production! (Long story, just look at Nessus concept art)
But now, when faced with the very land which our glorious campaign took place, we see it RUINED and SPAT ON by Bungie
The cosmodrome wall that, USED TO HAVE A BIG CHOMP IN IT, is now repaired!
This is BLASPHEMY!!! We demand at least some sort of reference/explanation to such repairs!
Bite the wall Bungie! Or at least chew it up a little!
YEAH!

2 RepliesThe wall was damaged still in the Thunderlord mission, so I'm left with the function that the wall and Cosmodrome parts literally go on winter vacation.
-
5 RepliesI’m so sad they didn’t use the amazing wrecked Cosmodrome from the Thunderlord quest. There’s no possible way the Cosmodrome could have been repaired like that, especially because it’s inhabited by enemies and humanity had absolutely no reason to fix it and you seriously can’t rebuild any of that so quickly.

Ready the Gjallarhorns!

The Iron Lords WILL rise again!

Plus, it's not cannon for the wall to be repaired. What? The Fallen repaired the wall? Nah.

1 ReplyThat's where Zavala put our budget for fixing the old Tower.

10 RepliesI remember doihg the initial Campaign where shaxx would say “ah saladins young wolf my armoury is open to u “ those were the days #justiceforriseofiron

3 RepliesWait till devil's lair strike returns, when that happens, they will open up more of the divide and we will see what they did to the entrance to the plague lands.

2 RepliesLiterally the only piece of evidence that ROI even happened in the Cosmodrome is the top dome is missing on the colony ship. I've been annoyed about the lack of ROI references ever since D2 launched.

I like the major inconsistencies in the cosmodrome. Like the wall is magically repaired now and the effects of SIVA have just vanished, but that one colony ship that lost a giant ball from the top in Rise of Iron is still missing. It doesn't make any sense. What I dont understand is why they didn't just make the cosmodrome a continuation like they have been. They even had the assets of the broken wall in d2 from the thunderlord quest, why not just use it??? And if you are going to actively try to erase the past, then erase all of it, don't leave glaring inconsistencies like the colony ship.

1 ReplyHey, you went through with it 👏

6 RepliesThe Thunderlord quest took place after RoI and sent us to Cosmo and the after effects of the Siva campaign remained. That was removed and eventually Thunderlord became a world drop much later.
-
3 RepliesI thought your post was going to ask us to collectively bite the wall & make the hole ourselves. Disliked for disappointment.

3 RepliesDid Saladin acknowledge it this season? when?

2 RepliesAgreed

4 RepliesI guess that's better than asking me to bite a pillow.

11 RepliesI agree with this. SIVA was the coolest enemy other than the fallen and vex, they should bring it back.
