What is the worst exotic in D2?
BusinessInsider is once again inaccurate and wrong. So, in your opinion, what is the worst exotic?

5 RepliesEasily: Skyburner’s Oath Aeon Exotics Salvation’s Grip In that order respectively for me. Anything else that people put on there are just straight up wrong tbh. I can find niche uses for nearly every exotic whether it be PvP, or PvE, or Gambit. Even Aeon Exotics and Salvation’s Grip have some value, even if very little. But Skyburner’s Oath? God... you’re wasting your exotic slot for what is objectively a downgrade. Yes there are plenty of exotics that are incredibly niche, or weaker versions of other exotics, or just generally weak, but I don’t think there any exotics except for Skyburner’s Oath where no matter the situation I’ll always choose a blue over it.

Skyburner’s oath has to be the worst exotic weapon in the game hands down.

Gonna have to say Skyburner's Oath. Or Colony. Just a lot of the Year 1 exotics have not aged well. A lot of them could use some tune-ups.

Almost every single one. Theres just a handfull of exotics that are worth using. That enhance or change your way of playing. Theres so many useless exotics. Or exotics that were nerfed useless.

After year 1 it really doesn't do anything particularly well compared to what other heavies can do. It's a really neat exotic, but I'd take skyburners or darci over that piece of crap any day.

The Borealis sniper rifle. I never need it for anything, Hardlight can do the element change, and The Borealis is outclassed by every sniper

1 ReplyAeons are getting a bad rap. Only because they require team synergy. If you use them as a team, they’re solid. Lots of vault space ones though, especially on Titan and warlock. Mask of the quiet one, mk44 stand asides, kepris horn, promethium Spurs. To a degree stag, winters guile, apotheosis veil, etc. Hunters have it the best tbh. Lot of weapons seeing no use. Sky burner, Lumina, Ana’s scout rifle, prospector. Hell I need dim open in front of me lol

Everyone craps on skyburners but it's pretty effective at area denial with explosive seekers, at the cost of spamming primary ammo. Not great, frankly terrible 1v1 of course.

Anti barrier rounds go through sheilds. Not hitscan even when ads. Given the recent buff to scouts your better off hipfiring with that then hipfiring with skyburners. [/spoiler]

Obv aeon set. But after that ahamkara grasps or apotheosis veil. I never see anybody with those on.
