Cheaters have destroyed my favorite game,and it seems bungie doesn't care
Just depressed. I cant play a fair match in this game anymore. So I'm done

Someone’s sad because they’re figuring out they’re not as good as they’d like to be. But guess what? It’s ok! It’s just a video game! Now you can stop taking it so seriously. I mean honestly look at how unbalanced pvp really is! Seen the new class trailers? This game will NEVER be balanced. See you next season!!

3 RepliesI really wonder what their problem is. Does somebody know how the hacks work? Is it memory manipulation? If yes it should be such an easy thing to fix. I don't believe that Bungie doesn't care. I think that they have simply technical issues with how to develop an anti-Cheat system. They aren't stupid, they know how many people leave because of hackers, but to be fair there is a decent amount of hackers that got banned already, I know a few and you see it in the forums. But as long as not almost every hacker got banned it doesn't really help.

bungie 100% doesnt care about cheaters since they only impact pvp and they have no true team working on the pvp, only thing bungie cares about is free easy money and thats eververse, beyond that nothing else is important to em hence nonstop repeat of old content for pve and no work on pvp at all

You are NOT frequently encountering cheaters, if at all. Ddos’ing is all that happens on console and its very rare unless you play hundreds of trials/comp games per week then it can be occasional although its only happened to me once this year.

6 RepliesEhy darshkinhooski =) I know how do you feel about the Cheating situation and you're absolutely right, 100%. Unfortunately, Cheating is a serious problem on many on-line games, even those that have a Competitive Scene with a Pro Legue like R6, Overwatch ecc. Think about news games like Valorant or Hyper Scapes. They already have cheating issues... Cheating isn't something easy to deal with, this is the same for Bungie as for many other SHs. All the efforts put by Devs are easily thwarted by cheaters in general. Anti-cheat measures are really hard to make, but often easy to break. I don't think that Bungie doesn't care, but I can't help myself thinking that they are really struggling right now with the cheating problem in general. This may really actually take some time to see some progress.

7 Repliesback in the day, you would see a guy with full flawless trials gear and emblem and you would KNOW this guy was good. but now... when you see a flawless emblem your first thought is, "yea he cheated his way to the lighthouse, or paid a carry service to cheat for him on his way to the lighthouse..."
