Free to play has ruined this game, fortnites success has turned bungie into greedy, money hungry, lazy content creators, or lack thereof. The reason we all loved destiny and why we stuck around thru the first year of d2 is because of how unique it was, how truly amazing it could be, we are talking about a game that brought whole communities together, a game that reached into your soul and with a vice like grip never left you, now all it is, is drip fed wafer thin content that leaves you bored to tears within hours, a bounty and xp grind that is so monotonous that people like myself with over 2k hours on the game really have no desire to play, it's so sad, and we all complain simply because, WE ADORE THIS FRANCHISE, WE KNOW HOW GOOD IT COULD BE AND WE JUST WANT IT TO FLOURISH AND BE LIKE THE GOOD OLD DAYS AGAIN

6 RepliesThe real issue here is the tractor cannon still doesn't shoot tiny tractors. Nor do any hand cannons shoot little hands..PvP matches be like, hi five for you, hi five for you, hi five for you and so on.

6 RepliesDude I’ve played over 3k hours in 2019. Looking to do the same in 2020. The game is fine. You just need to stop burning yourself out in it, and play other games.

1 ReplyI wouldn’t mind it tbh at least there the shop refreshes daily
im not broke so I can afford Ev
3 RepliesOn the one hand: We do know how good Destiny could be. On the other hand: "The good old days." were never anywhere near how good Destiny could be. I truly want Destiny to be the franchise it could have been. Unfortunately BUNGiE threw all of that out the window when they started tearing apart their own internal teams because Activision didn't like something. Facts are that Destiny isn't going to improve unless BUNGiE stops being risk averse and starts trying what Digital Extremes did. Stop trying to monetize and start trying to fantasize again. Chase the dream and not the money, if there is enough of that Old BUNGiE Blood still left in the company they still have a chance.

Why? Fornite is awesome! Let's make destiny more like Fortnite!!!!

3 RepliesI actually love the season pass. There are times I go months without an exotic drop. The armor you get from the season pass stat wise is actually pretty good, the ornaments look good and are given away just by playing. Not buying it with silver. I’m not gonna say I don’t buy silver cause I buy my fair share. It went F2P so now it needs extra support to keep it afloat. Much like other MMO games they have a cash shop. If you like the game support it, there’s no point in complaining about the seasons since alone the seasons are only $10 each. Everyone is expecting a game overhaul with every season. I still find myself grinding out D2 through out the week while also balancing my addiction to MHW Iceborne. This is how I keep myself from burning out on D2. I’ve come to the realization that D2 cannot be a main game for Vet players. We bulldoze through content while new light players are sometimes overwhelmed.

1 ReplyEdited by SilentKubera: 2/1/2020 12:29:09 AMDon’t blame Fortnite. Blame Bungie. Fortnite has no correlation to how the creators are handling this game. Hell, Epic could do so much better with Destiny.

6 RepliesOnce they added a battle pass I immediately lost faith. Rip.

The complaint you have has plagued destiny for years. Old: no drip fed content, long droughts. Now: drip fed content with shorter droughts. Its a pick-your-poison kinda thing. Folks need to Grind less and Play more.

3 RepliesEdited by name: 1/31/2020 11:25:46 AMthe moment when they introduced fortnite (cancer) systems into D2 that was the point i knew i'm done forever with this franchise

Fortnite wasn’t the first free to play game. Or the first successful free to play game. Are you saying you’d love the game more if Eververse had been shut down. ShadowKeep released and we see no new content at all until next September?

All I'm hearing from this topic is "Destiny Trash cuz battlee pass >:( >:( ". Honestly, I couldn't care less about the "P2W Pass" just because you can grind it. Sure, it'll take months, but at the same time you have the non paid version, which still gets you stuff. It's a win-win. I've been playing Destiny since it ever released, and the community has always found a way to bash it just because of one stupid, inconsequential thing that people forget about in a months time. There is the free version of the Battle Pass. Free. Free means you don't have to spend money for it. I personally think it's a great addition, because the Exotic drop rates are so random, that you could go months without finding one. I know I have, and it is frustrating. So please, stop complaining about something that gives you free stuff for playing.

You've been here for 2 years. You know NOTHING about the good old days. So don't pretend like you speak for us. Other than that, the only thing you got right was the fact that they should have never made this game free to play.

1 ReplyFor everyone here

7 RepliesFree to play and a season pass does not mean they are trying to turn the game into fortnite lol. Also, destiny is just a game, like any other game. You either have fun with it or you dont. When you dont, go play something else.

35 RepliesEdited by Lost Sols: 1/31/2020 4:46:21 AMRead your feedback, then go read all the other copy/paste posts just like it.
OMG Bungie are greedy! Devs are lazy! We only complain and throw hate cuz WE CARE SO MUCH!
It would be nice to see an original opinion and players posting feedback without posting the exact same "look at me, I'm hating on the game! Give me likes!" post that pass for opinions these days. Also, I'm pretty sure this is the EXACT same community that spent a couple years screaming about why can't Bungie update Destiny more like Epic does Fortnite, but let's conveniently ignore that. Just like you ignore the hundreds of people who make up the company and work their asses of to make the game, that you call lazy because you don't like the direction it's gone. Not impressed.

do u actually know what fortnite is

I hate Microtransaction in my 60+ dollar games. Free to Play games is fine but not destiny’s fake free to play. Bungie is monetizing Destiny like it’s a free to play game while still remaining a premium game that I paid $240+ on.

Hello, I am a destiny player who has been in the game since season 2 of destiny 1. First, Sorry for my English, but I belong to the Spanish community where Bungie apparently has no one to collect information And I think Bungie should rethink the whole theme of the seasons, the eveverse, the Osiris trials etc. First let's talk about strikes. Currently they are useless, I prefer to do nightfall at 980/950 to get materials, rather than start doing strikes that do not give anything. I remember all the time I spent playing strikes of destiny 1, trying to get the exclusive armor and weapons of those strikes and I remember playing how fun it was ... that's why Bungie must make the strikes useful again and stop being there as decoration to complete boring adventure steps. secondly I want to talk about the crucible; I am not a PvP fan player, but I play it a lot ... and I think it is time for you to put that destiny 1 mode, where you had to capture the ball and score on the rival field. in Spanish it was called (Grieta) mode ... besides they should put the Osiris trialls back on! with armor as beautiful as those of destiny 1. and not like the trials of the 9 thirdly I want to talk about the seasons As for the seasons. I think they are badly raised. There are many seasons, each of which has little content and they take up a lot of work. it would be much better to have 2 seasons with 6 months duration each and with a much more interesting amount of content, instead of being € 60 DLC they could be € 30 ... that have history, new armor, weapons, modes of game like menagerie etc and with the inclusion of exclusive weapons and armor in strikes in crucible etc you would have people much more entertaining and fun. Finally, let's talk about Eveverse. we have lost the seasonal engrams, we have lost the luminous dust that the objects gave when breaking them and all this was not supposed to happen ... Activision was supposed to force Bungie to have eveverse and to include a lot of content there ... but Now there are only you and most things are almost impossible to achieve ... making the 6 contracts that give lumino dust, I get 1200 per character, that is, a total of 3600 ... but then you go to eveverse and you find that A gesture is worth 4200 ... so where is the logic here? If in 1 week I can't buy what I want. and don't tell me even silver! I have paid each and every one of the DLCs. which does not seem fair to me! that now I have to spend more money on evevers

22 RepliesEdited by tactlock: 1/30/2020 7:26:07 PMThe soul has been ripped out of this franchise. Seeing those Eververse ads when I login is depressing. “Make sure you buy stuff from us please” 🤮 “Celebrate your ‘had to be there’ moment with a $10 silver purchase!” 🤮🤮 “We gave you an exotic gun now come buy skins for it you fkn freeloaders!” 🤮🤮🤮

1 ReplyImagine if they added the building fort mechanic to crucible.....that would be a hoot.

Fortnite’s success was caused by the gaming community. That’s where my blame goes. That can be said for a lot of game failures to be honest.
