So, you just couldn't keep pvp out of the Invitation of the Nine....
even if it's still only 1/9 of the quest, I thought this community had made it abundantly clear we don't like to be forced into pvp. Oh, wait.... that's right... you DON'T LISTEN!

65 RepliesWow, this is the worst post I've seen in a long time. I hate having to play PvE just to get gear for PvP but I don't cry about it. And you're crying because you have to complete a handful of PvP matches for a single powerful drop? Alrighty.

I actually thought that instead of the final invitation of the Nine bounty being pvp, they could have spent some of the 7 months that it took to make zero hour, and made a mission, like the "ace in the hole" quest. A one of quest that everyone could do, with lore revealed through voice over (that is already recorded for the other eight invitations anyway) and once you reach the end, the cutscene appears. No crucible, but extra reward

They started getting all freaked out about their precious KD ratios and were starting to get really terrified that their their daily supply of fresh food drying up. So they went crying to Bungholio about this and what did Boogerhole do? They came up with more meaningless missions to lure normal people back into cruc-a-crumble.

They think pvp is awesome, they are proud of the 2 pvp streamers that get 100 viewers, they turn a blind eye to to the obvious recovery services the other 3 streamers stream.

2 RepliesIt's the only way that BUNGIE can force gamers into PvP so that they can be pubstomped in PvP by the streamers (who should get real jobs) and tryhard no-life gamers. Simply put, the streamers (who should get real jobs) and tryhard no-life gamers are tired of playing against themselves all the time. They want noobs like you to massacre.

The only part that got me burning was comp. I don't really care for it but I just thought at making it a mandatory step was odd, since getting paired with disinterested people would hurt people actually trying.

1 ReplyAlso.. 6 matches will get you a Powerful Engram. In fact, it will get you TWO so there is zero downside. You have to do 6 matches & u can jus dance & emote & jump off the map til yer done. Ya couldn't do that with the previous 8, could you? No. There's bigger issues to address right now. Having to do 6 crucible is NOT one of them..

Well our first interaction with the Nine was the Trials night f the Nine, so it makes sense.

3 RepliesIt's stupid. Well, the comp part is anyway. It's knowingly sweaty and forcing people into it is like adding a step for completing raids to the quest. Comp needs to be it's own separate beast, not associated with any outside quests.
