It takes Bungie a very long time to address any balance issues in the game. They have to address balance issues. The change to LH/NF is pretty mild in comparison to other balance changes. Recluse like all weapons will be considered. Maybe one day it will get a balance change. It won’t be worth freaking out over then. Good players can adapt and use more than the easiest to use most powerful weapon. I can understand that players who paid so much money to have their account recov to get guns that make the game easier for them are mad the game won be as easy, but I also don’t care.

5 RepliesNot calling for a nerf but when I first read the perk, I thought the perk worked differently until my son got the gun. The perk includes the weapon itself. If Recluse becomes a hinderance in Crucible then just rework the perk. Otherwise leave the weapon as is. As for Lunas/NF, these weapons were killing Crucible. Bungie should have, could have done something to Comp, to get players back in there using those weapons. The fact that Comp is trash allowed Lunas/NF to creep over to QP which is hurting the Crucible.

1 ReplyRecluse requires a kill to activate the perk. If I get killed by it then I wasn't paying attention. Been shitting on people using the exotic arc submachine gun. Get hit with arc and go nuts.

8 RepliesIm on PC and can confirm recluse IS the most overpowered weapon in the game, and PC players are realizing how you can exploit it. Recluse with MoA active can kill in .47 secs with just body shots, meaning it can kill faster with headshots. On PC you can control SMGs with EASE so you can get a chain of headshots. Recluse can kill FASTER THAN AN LMG. So what do you do with this weapon? You litteraly can bum rush an enemy spawn, get one kill, and then spawn kill players before they can even get an aim on you as they are respawning. Its been happening to me the past 2 weeks where I was getting spawn killed by a recluse player twice by himself, killing 3 players on our team in our spawn for a good minute unable to basically play the game. Recluse IS WORSE THAN Luna and NF on PC, and could be almost as bad on console.

What do you expect from players who suck at crucible? They’re always asking for nerfs. It has been like this since D1.

It will get a nerf. Fusions,shotguns, and once again warlocks will get a nerf. People want power fantasy but cry every time they get it. I feel like it is about to be the return of the sidearm only meta and even then people still complained when only one type of gun was usable.
