Cute. I’ll just leave the comments as the reason I can’t stand playing in such a community.
ANYONE THAT TRULY WANTS HELP CAN INBOX ME AND GET IT REGARDLESS IF I CAN STAND THIS GAME OR NOT. I DON’T GIVE A -blam!- IF I ENJOY IT, I’M CANADIAN, HELP COMES FIRST.
All my Bungie activity is literally nothing but helping friends or strangers. This post is still valid.
The people on here are reason enough to hate this game.
but they are fun to troll :D

You know what they say To each their own. Just because you quit doesn’t mean I have to🤷🏻♂️

1 ReplyAgreed, quit 6 weeks ago after being on since day 1, keep checking the forum / app for some good news to get back on. May be waiting a while.
-
2 RepliesIf your really done delete your character

1 ReplyI quit during AoT D1 as I felt the same you do now, except I clearly remember more people defending Bungie. I came back recently when the game became a bargain deal, and said why not. Wait for D3 to become a bargain and at least they're 80% finished developing their game and stop pre ordering and all. Vote with your wallet, and I hope to see you in better games my friend.
Check out AC Odyssey, that shit is fun.
5 RepliesEveryone saying "no one cares" or "k bye" are all secretly wanting to quit too but are too blinded by fanboy-ism and Bungies big ol shaft in their face.

Similar boat, less salt and drama. I have logged around 5k hours between D1&2. I love the franchise, I love the gameplay, sometimes I just have to laugh at the meta changes and how salty some here get. I feel like this is like any other content drought we've had. Play the content, get the things you want, go play other games until the next content drop. Admittedly, "More Gambit" doesn't have me holding my breath in anticipation, but I'll be back to check it out, see what's what. Then I'll play other things until Penumbra, which does have me mildly excited. Maybe it's just because of the mystery around the content itself, but I feel like it's going to finish a lot of story threads, and to me that is satisfying. Then I'll probably play other things. Just relax and let history teach you about the ups and downs with this franchise. Sure, don't be afraid to express yourself or offer feedback, but raging over any game is just silly.

1 ReplyDude just take a break before you give yourself an aneurism. Curse of Osiris was the worst and Forsaken was the best. Everything else you said is true. They have a bad habit of looking at metrics instead of just listening. you need to take at least a week off and you will feel a lot better about playing Destiny.
-
I don’t blame you, OP. The ship has been sinking for a long time. If only the captains were half-way competent.
-
1 ReplyNo offense OP, but you know this forum can be toxic, right? Why put this post out here if you didn't want ALL feedback of sorts? Surely you didn't expect to here just the "good" feedback, right? I agree with you 100000% btw. But some people just want to see the world burn. Welcome to the Destiny forum.

1 Replynot trying to be toxic, but acrius is amazing

1 ReplyI quit reading the I quit posts. Wait... Damn.

1 ReplyCozmo is just an employee, and I bet he’s been looking for another company to work for since over a year. Unfortunately he carries bungie’s bad reputation so I’m not surprised he couldn’t find any other job.

110 RepliesI know how you feel. I've basically been playing Anthem since it went into Early Access on the 15th....and I basically haven't played Destiny since. The sad part is----having put 5000 hours into this franchise----I really don't find myself missing it....and the silence this close to the start of Season 6 to be ominous. In playing Anthem, I'm once again getting to see and feel how a well-designed loot-based game plays...and I'm just not willing to put up with the sub-standard loot-game experience that Bungie continues to insist upon putting out there into the marketplace. In Cozmo's defense....he's clearly being muzzled. So there's no real point coming here every day and saying "We're Listening But Have Nothing To Say To You In Reply." Since Foresaken, Bungie has gone back to its bad, old habits of non-communication, non-transparency, and unwillingness to work in collaboration with their community. Which stands in SHARP constrast to how BioWare is treating Anthem. Despate the irrational and blind hate that the game is getting from those who AREN"T playing the game....people who are actually playing the game couldn't be happier. In less than 2 weeks, they have fixed problems and quality of life issues that would have taken Bungie MONTHS to fix. They are transparent with their community....and work in COLLABORATIOn with their community to blend the vision of the game they want to make, with the game their players wish to play. Want a social space? We'll make one even though it wasn't part of our original vision. Think certain in game animations are interfering with smooth gameplay? Okay, we'll fix that too. Game-breaking exploit similar to the Loot Cave? Fixed in 24 hours. To go from that...to the sphynxian silence of Bungie, and their stubborn determination to defy their community in defense of some of the worst game design decisions I've seen in a generation is absolutely jarring. And like you, I'm getting tired of it. I'm still on the fence about whether to continue to play. But right now things are not looking good where that's concerned.

5 RepliesPretty sure McDonalds is garbage 100% of the time.

8 RepliesI'm just gonna be honestly with you, legit no one cares. I honestly hate whenever I see these posts. If you truly wanted to leave, you should delete your characters, and just leave silently. Don't go on here looking for attention by saying "Bungie, I'm leaving." If you want to propose a solution to a problem, do it without saying you're gonna leave.
-
3 RepliesI think I was on your fireteam once; I recognize your tag. Or are you on Anthem? I can't remember; I'm usually drinking tequila when playing.
-
5 RepliesEdited by Hi babes: 2/25/2019 8:59:18 PMForsaken was hot garbage. The only reason people claim it was good, is because they compare it to the other shit DLCs.
-
I’m in the same boat as you bruh, I even made a clan for people to help them whenever. I like helping people out but man. I’m just upset how things have gone. I still love Bungie tho
-
4 RepliesI feel you. I have dumped thousands of hours into this franchise. Never in Destiny history did I feel like logging into the game was a chore. Until this point of D2. Which I hate. Cuz I have had so much fun with these games. Destiny 2 is 100% missing that “fun factor” D1 had for me. And I can’t nail down exactly why. The guns aren’t as satisfying, the strikes are god awful (and they’re multipliers suck), crucible is an absolute joke, no Trials, the raids are pale comparisons to their predecessors(excluding The Last Wish), the list goes on. Nothing feels worth chasing. Maybe that’s what it all boils down to. Idk. But I really can’t be bothered to play it anymore. And idk if it can be redeemed at this point either :/

1 ReplyGuardian down.

1 ReplyCongrats? No one cares about quitters. Leave again before the match is over and you will be suspended for 15 minutes

Day 1 player for Destiny and up until forsaken or annual pass I've preordered all bungie content since halo 3. I haven't been to McDonald's since 1993 so when I say I'm done with BungLe products it is no joke. Serve me bad food slowly multiple times, I'm not coming back. Make a game a lot less fun and more buggy than the original, I'm gone until there is some solid proof things dramatically improved.

10 RepliesThis is well stated and understood. If people attack you for this that’s because they can’t handle difference of opinion and don’t know how to conduct themselves in a mature fashion. The amount of absolute nonsense that we as the player base of had to put up with since the release of D2 has absolutely ruined any desire to even bother with the game anymore. Btw https://guardian.gg/2 303k down from 14 Million. Embarrassing. Lol Destiny Tracker I have a hunch is regulated, especially since they combined all stats last year Bc D1 started to have a more active player base. Thank you for this post and the honesty. It’s how a bunch of us feel, let the people who hate on it stay in denial.

Even most of the "in it for the long-haul", thousands of hours played players are just tired at this point. I just don't care anymore. Hundreds of hours for stuff that I'm still chasing just feels less rewarding than having everything to me. I had everything in D1, but I still was OK playing just for fun. But having items that just won't drop after months and seasons just sucks. 93%+ stopped playing, the popular opinion is that this sucks. Maybe it's time to just accept that it really does and move on.
