I have no motivation to play
I'm missing Jotunn, Anarchy, and 1KV, but I don't really want to bother leveling up 2 more characters to complete the raids and forges. I wish I could just keep playing the raids and forges until I get the gear, but bungie is stuck between this "we want you to keep playing, but we are also only going to give you one gear roll per week" idea. I'm missing titan heroic adventures for wayfarer, and I cant play them until Titan is the flashpoint. When Tuesday rolls around, Ill log in, complete all of this stuff, and then, if I'm unsuccessful, I will play something else until next Tuesday. There's just no point in playing after you are max power and have exhausted your exotic gear opportunities for the week. I don't go "exotic hunting" like I used to be able to. Also I don't stay up late like I used to see what Xur has or where he's at, because I know its just shit that I already have. I just pray that, while I'm playing the game, Ill get an exotic drop for Cerberus +1 or trinity ghoul, which I'm still missing both. Its sad, because I used to LOVE playing destiny. Now it just feels like a chore

4 RepliesI have thousands of hours on both destiny's and im in the same boat. Personally im just biding my time until D3. Which is kind of silly but I think if they do make a 3rd it won't have the same core issues that D2 has.

I mean if your only playing you one character yeah that’s pretty god damn boring. Also destiny is in its drought time rn. Either level up your other classes, or find a different game to play until the dlc drops. I feel bad for anybody who played destiny constantly in the drought time

6 RepliesBeen almost 6 days since I logged in. May not sound like much, but for me, who played for hours almost every day, it is. I just can't bring myself to load the game, there just isn't any reason to anymore.

I suggest "Designated Survivor" on Netflix. It will take up about 40 hrs for you and give you lots of motivation to keep watching.

It's been a few days since I last logged in, which is honestly a bit disheartening when this game was my favorite for awhile--played every day and now just..nothing. The next "dlc" is gambit based and I'm not even remotely excited to be force fed that mode again.. I don't know how much I'll be logging for it. Maybe events? Otherwise.. Tried Apex (first time playing a battle royale game) and I guess that's been where I sit with video games lately.

1 ReplyTheir idea of keeping the players in is really bad. They want people just to keep licking their feet til all the toe crumbs are off. We don't want to play a game that feels like a chore, we want a game like warframe where there is so much to do but the game itself feels fun. This game lacks so many mechanics to keep the fun factor in check. They should have built up with the D1 engine so the game was still fun. But that's what happens when a dev team leaves and 3 more come knocking in.

7 RepliesMy biggest problem with destiny is the community. This community is so toxic to the point if you mention another game you enjoy, you get attacked. I saw someone say he liked anthem and someone said “no you didn’t” and proceeded to tell him why his opinion was wrong. I understand why cosmo and them barely touch the forums. Then there’s the people who just want this game to die. They can’t grasp the concept of people liking D2 and insult people for it. I’m not saying everyone’s this way but a lot of people are and it’s really annoying.

Can you really blame the game for failing after 4 to 5 years of logging in every day? How long can you expect to play the same freakin game? Bungie needs to concentrate on new gamers and let the vets go. To much unrealistic unattainable nostalgia from D1. They should drop D2 dlcs and let it die a natural slow death like most games out there. A little over a year from now release a D3. But I’m probably just trolling.

Damn dude welcome to my world, i've lost interest since the start of black armory, attempted the new raid got to the last phase of boss while everyone being drastically under-leveled. We just stopped, can't care anymore knowing that D3 will most likely be a fresh start (hopefully). Personally I think the lack of uniqueness to things in the game just make everything boring. There isn't anything being introduced or reworked to keep things fresh, the new content doesn't even add substantially good or cool items.

Try Apex legends, it’s free. I love destiny but have hit a point where I need a break. Apex legends is a nice break for me. I basically hate battle royals but find myself really liking it.

You realise that you are complaining that you essentially hit cap, right? You also admit to not wanting to even try to get the few specific exotics. I mean, you literally have no chance of getting them by not trying at all, and yet you still complain.

makes sure you running powerful frames at the 4th forge for Jotunn. I usually can only do 3 frames a week due to lack of interest in getting my second guy through the 3rd forge quest and I've still had it drop 3 times. Still no One Eyed Mask though....
