After having played countless hours of crucible I've finally decided I don't need the frustration of this game. I play video games to escape the reality of society being comprised of brainless followers and people out to intentionally ruin any amount of fun you could possibly have. Upon loading up destiny after working a 12 hour day (and waiting 10 minutes for the character select screen to load) I jump into the crucible and start grinding for one of the four weapons in the game worth a hoot (Luna's Howl). I'm greeted with 10 consecutive matches of competitive composed of copied and pasted guardians with nearly IDENTICAL cheesy/spammy meta loadouts. As you all know I'm sure, matches and spending a lot of time in orbit is never fun just to be met with this experience. It all amounts to a massive waste of time and a feeling of being punished for using anything that isn't meta. So needless to say I'm done with this game and it's toxic, teabagging, and secularly minded community. ALSO I know not everyone is like this, just a very large portion of the community, and for those that aren't part of the toxicity and brainlessness, I feel for you and wish you the best in your future grinding endeavors.

This isn’t an airport there is no need to announce your departure.

1 Replyor... Or... OR...... You could play something other than crucible?.... Either way. Name calling, profiling, and unfairly assuming negative aspects of people you don't know based on self created identifications. I'd say the game is less toxic without you in it. Also, in regards to metas... GL playing any game lmao. Every game has a meta. Follow it or git gud. Someone always loses in competitive. Your not special or an exclusion to this. I didn't like spending four hours solo queue on triple infamy to finish my legend rank in gambit because I kept getting matched against meta teams but I did it and got my Dredgen title. It also made me way better. Nothing like out-skilling a QB or 1000 voices user with a pulse. TLDR~ Git Gud or Go Home. Your leaving does not have an impact. See you in a couple weeks when you inevitably start playing again.

Your not alone and I’m sorry this is happening to us. I prepaid for the new content but I’m not even going to install it; matter of fact I deeted the game all together. I can understand a loss or two but getting stomped for a month is my breaking point. I have no desire to compete with zero lifers who suck at life but are good at a game. I encourage you all to quit; destiny is a evil game

I understand your pain bro. I am sure you wont be last. Another exodus is upon us. Let the hardcore crybabies who think this is actually a skill based game have it. Then they will complain that matches are taking forever to load up and it's so much lag because they have to play some guy overseas because the player base is so small..oh wait that has started already.... hummm. Good Luck to sir. Sorry to see a Guardian go.

Crucible sucks but what really sucks is everybody agrees that low skills players deserve to be curb stomp by high skill players . Even the people at bungie think low skill players should get crib stomp . Sucks but nothing to be done about it .

1 ReplyDRB, Luna's/NF, and Wardcliff Wow what a fun loadout fighting literally every single QP game lol

Edited by InTheZone: 11/29/2018 1:56:55 PMI've played very little destiny over the last month and a half and have been able to go into my ps3 and ps4 backlog and enjoy many games I've put off too long. I've actually beat a few games in that time and I rarely complete games as it is. And never do I get angry with those games. In destiny it only takes a few, or less, crucible/gambit matches and I'm already hating brain dead teammates. It was great though getting my favorite strike catalyst for wardcliff yesterday, definitely led to me playing a little longer than I was expecting.

1 ReplyYup, I quit too. They f u c k e d Titans over too much.

You made a good choice. Since bungie doesnt want to listen to the feedback of their terrible "competitive" mode. The more people stop playing the more itll get bungie to do something. Because at this moment the playlist is a joke and unacceptable

Well...bye.

3 RepliesLol, your first mistake was playing the COMP playlist to "relax". Second, 0-800 comp is basically qp with sbmm, 4 stacks in this range are pretty much a non-threat to any good player. If you couldn't break 600 then you just aren't getting to fabled, unfortunately that is how it is. Thirdly, don't complain about how sweaty a game mode is when its very nature is to be a sweaty game mode.

7 RepliesEdited by WiggletonBandit: 11/26/2018 7:33:39 PMJust stay out of competitive and only play Gambit with a team. Your in-game experience will be much better for it. Yes, I know the rewards are enticing, but honestly they're not worth the headache and if enough people boycott they'll eventually take a hint. I'm decent enough at PvP to have made the Claymore grind last season, but was glad to see them open up the reward through the Broadsword quest as no one deserves to be subjected to the Dumpster Fire that is comp matchmaking. I would love to see them continue this practice by eventually moving these weapons (Luna's / Mountaintop) to more of a time and effort based quest structure after a couple seasons in the comp playlist. I know the hardcore PvP'ers will complain about this and cry "participation trophy" but honestly it's a video game and for most it's just recreation and not something from which they derive a sense of accomplishment or self-worth. If you're one of the people who finds a sense of accomplishment and meaning in an imaginary reward gained by being the best in an unmarketable skill, I feel genuinely sorry for how hollow the rest of your life must be.

2 RepliesEdited by I need a Hawktuah(Adept): 11/26/2018 8:29:52 PMMust be a millennial, this isn't twitter, no one care if you stay or leave. I bought Destiny for the loot base, raids and boss fights. If I wanted a true competitive FPS, I'll be playing anything other than this. I don't give a rats a** about Luna's and any other crucible weapon, I'll never use them in PvE.

2 RepliesThe last thing I do to relax is play pvp in any game.
-
Once I got my Luna’s, I stayed away from comp, and I played some pve. PVE imo is much less frustrating and some of the activities like raids, Shattered Throne, and nightfalls are good times with friends, whether alone or with friends.
-
You will not be missed. See ya. So long. Don't let the door hit you on the way out, actually, please do.
-
Psst... hey over here... play Red Dead 2... you won't regret it...
-
9 RepliesSo... After 12 hours of being at work, somewhere I am assuming you didn’t want to be, you came home and fired up competitive. The same competitive, that is hella known to contain the bulk of the sweatiest, t-bag’n, tryhards that haven’t found a hobby that can ruin people’s day since trials was removed. On top of that, you want to be angry at them for using the best guns in the game, in a mode called “competitive?” Do you get angry at water for being wet?
-
you will be back you attention seeking whinger
-
3 RepliesSo... C-ya next week in Black Armory.
-
5 RepliesSo because you got beat by players trying to win in a COMPETITIVE game mode you're quitting? Ok maybe you don't understand the definition of "competitive"? I'm sorry you're trash in PvP but that isn't Bungie's fault, it's yours
-
This is why I play pvp. I live to be toxic and ruin others experiences. L8r See you next DLC!
-
Do you need a tissue for all that crying
-
1 Replyjust today? will you get back to it tomorrow?

3 RepliesEdited by TJ_Dot: 11/27/2018 12:23:06 AMIf your goal was to not be frustrated at all, then choosing a PvP activity was your first mistake.
