We should get an increase to body shot damage and get damage values similar to destiny 1.
Edit: or atleast an increase to weapon accuracy (lower recoil, increase aim assist, ect.)

3 RepliesScouts and Auto rifles are the only primaries that need buffed rn. Autos could use an decrease in TTK cause rn they’re outgunned by everything at every range (my horror story does less then go figure or bygones per single round) unless you get the jump on someone whose already injured. Scouts could probably use a range buff, I doubt a scout should be out ranged by a pulse rifle (which is supposed to provide accurate fire in ranges that autos can’t hit but not accurate out to scouts) or maybe tone down pulse range or damage

I'm still wondering if they'll ever put Scout Rifles back to what they were. The new pulses and bows do more damage at longer ranges in a shorter amount of time, it's ridiculous. Why use a scout when the other two do more for less in both pvp and pve?

I just feel like camping with Bygones as a hunter is something that's -blam!-ing annoying.

17 RepliesNo. Bodyshots should not be rewarded.

1 ReplyThis would help against shotgun warriors constantly sliding towards us tanking dmg.

1 ReplyTtk is fine where it is. We just nees weapons to handle like they did in d1. Id say remove handling and set it to max for all guns but ik that wont happen

Primaries would be fine if they reeled in secondary weapons. Shotguns are a shit show in 6v6.

2 RepliesMost things are fine, scouts however.......

10 RepliesPrimaries don't need a buff. Primaries kill fast enough at the moment, especially with things like Bygones, Luna's Howl, and trust on the field, and especially when kill clip is active. The only difference between D1 and D2 is that bodyshots are punished more, otherwise ttk values are pretty similar when considering the top tier weapons. HOWEVER, by making the game more unforgiving, weapon consistency has to be up to par so that high tier players can take advantage of the higher skill ceiling, without their kills being left to rng. In this case yes, primaries do a need a buff as a lot of the time I personally fail to get a kill because accuracy and therefore rng wasn't in my favour (i.e. aerial shots). An easy was to do this would be to make it so that range directly scales with the size of an opponents hitbox (linearly or exponentially, as long its consistent values), and aim assist values are normalized per weapon archetype. Low in air accuracy should not cause ghost bullets, it should just make the weapon more unforgiving. Simple things like that will make primaries feel a lot better, while keeping a high skill ceiling in pvp.
