2 RepliesOne of my clanmates posted an interesting idea on our Discord channel.... How to kill 2 birds with 1 stone: "We at Bungie have heard the feedback. The Malfaesance will now have a 50% spawn rate if no Sleeper Simulant are used by both teams."
-
2 RepliesCan’t change the mind of someone who is 100% correct. Sleeper can cross map body shot with little to no effort. It’s the equivalent of MW2 noob tubes back in the day and scrubs will defend it because they can’t be bothered to use something that requires a bit of skill.
-
3 RepliesI like bagging sleeper users. I mean I know they suck, but they are really trying to prove that point by going full noob.
-
I don't even use sleeper or own one. No, dont remove it.
-
1 ReplyI don’t think the issue is having the sleeper in gambit. It’s a great utility for taking out the primevil. I’d say that it shouldn’t OS on a guardian in their super. And I feel that maybe the amount of ammo you get per Brick for the sleeper should be dropped down a bit. Just make it a little harder to wipe a team out or something. Just a thought, otherwise I say it should really stay the way it is.
-
So glad I got the catalyst. I've taken out the whole team a couple times. Fun.
-
1 ReplyThe problem isn’t really, it’s all the advantages an invader gets that make the sleeper the perfect choice to kill people.
-
5 RepliesEquip it yourself, get ammo. When the invader comes across. Shoot Them With It.

Edited by Darth: 10/4/2018 1:17:21 AMCan’t wait to spam Sleeper shots into your face like a hot load every time you play Gambit.

Edited by Domiel Angelus: 10/3/2018 11:00:39 AMTwo fixes would help alleviate the stress of the 'no skill' crowd using Sleeper right now. 1. Remove the "Shoot Here" tags once a Primeval has been spawned. They're up for easy targetting when you're attaining motes when motes are no longer an issue they shouldn't be up. 2. Increase the time between enemy invasions after a Primeval has been spawned. I've had games where the opposing team is at 30 motes, our Primeval is up and the Sleeper shots rain down like they're laser pointers being aimed for cats. The sheer amount of invasions to allow the opposing team catch up time is just unreal right now.

Not roasting you at all here 2 things that need to change tho oversheild and wall hack for invaders and I bet sleeper wouldn't be a problem anymore not so much the oversheild part but the fact they can see your name through walls and pre charge up and wait for you to peek or make a move
-
5 RepliesNothing feels better than out sniping sleeper users tho.
-
1 ReplyIt should tho,but they won't. They'll just nerf the ammo count and the range to be like shotgun range.
-
10 RepliesI dont even have the quest complete and I use a sniper to take out invaders with sleeper. Use a sniper and uhhh. Click on their heads bro. EZ.

1 ReplyEdited by Khalith: 10/3/2018 10:40:10 AMI can understand why people hate it. Was in a gambit match on 10/2, you can see it in my game history, both teams won a round. Final round, the other team nearly killed their primeval 30%-40% while our’s was around 80%-90%. Portal is up and I invaded with my sleeper with 8 shots ready to go. First shot, sniped a warlock floating in the air. Second shot sniped a hunter that was trying to hide from me. See an enemy player hiding under the central platform and one shot him with a Titan shoulder tackle. By then they retreated back to the spawn, and got one last sleeper kill on one of them that peaked his head out. Gave their primeval a ton of health back and while they were waiting to respawn my team was wailing on our boss. Got sent back and used my remaining shots on the primeval to kill it and denied the enemy team a win that should have been in the bag for them. It was a clutch play and I won the match for my team. Could I have pulled that off without sleeper though? Absolutely not. I’m awful at head shots and never use sniper rifles. But with sleeper? With sleeper I can snipe anyone and as long as I hit them anywhere it’s GG. It’s quickly become my favorite weapon.

3 RepliesIf you can't beat'em, join em

Change my mind
No you're definitely right. It takes ZERO skill to use. Can out range any weapon thats not a sniper and can one shot no matter where it hits and has a stupidly large hitbox. They either need to ban the weapon from gambit so they don't have to nerf it (also so all the people who jack off to this gun don't have to cry that their aim bot machine is nerfed) Or lower its damage in gambit so it doesn't one shot guardians with shields or in their supers. I already know they're planning on nerfing its aim assist but lets be freaking honest people are still gonna be using this thing to high hell and they'll just brag and brag thinking they're good at the game when in reality they're just using a crutch to get wins/kills cause they're too scared to actually fight fair.
-
Huh I can’t change your mind, but we can make you quite play gambit by killing you endlessly with sleeper....anyone with me?
-
11 RepliesI dislike sleeper because it basicaly encourages skilless gameplay and teribads to camp. But its not as broken as some claim it is. It needs tweaking yes. Like a longer fire time and no one shots unless its a headshot. But shotguns IMO need to be balanced first. Because right now they are a plague
-
1 ReplySnipe them? They dont require any charging so im sure you can get em first
-
14 RepliesBan it, nerf it, that's everyone's solution to something they don't like. Try altering your play style first. It's clear when an invader comes through the portal, so duck behind cover and try to figure out where they are. If you stand out in the open, anything can be a one shot kill. I've run several rounds of Gambit, and I don't have a problem with the Sleeper. If I get shot, either the invader was coming after me, or I left my tail in the wind so he could see it. I use the Sleeper in Gambit because it does massive damage to the bosses. And I have used it to kill invaders as well, it's not a point in the general direction and pull the trigger weapon, like some people are claiming, you can miss with it.

You roasted yourself posting this bud.

How the -blam!- do I like this post

I dont even have it and im fine with it
-
No. It’s fine. Doesn’t bother me.
