I don’t typically like making serious posts, but...
Please be nice to others. I know you’ve heard this over and over, but it’s true. You never know how much something like a casual dismissal can truly hurt somebody.
So, please, be nice to others. Especially if you know they suffer from something like anxiety or depression.

I try to be nice. But I also joke around and sarcasm is a [i]big[/i] part of my humor arsenal. When you don't take me seriously you get the joke, but if you get offended then my joke struck a nerve. And typically my jokes shed light on things people don't want noticed by others, but I notice and I point it out. Its a harsh two way street and everyone has to be cautious while navigating it with others. Basically, kindness is a form of respect and courtesy and not everyone [i][b][u]feels[/u][/b][/i] the same way about it and everyone has their own perspective of it. I mean you no harm or insult, unless you mean to do so upon me.

I’ve been considering changing my personality for a while... for the better. This pushed me in that direction. Dunno why but thanks.

2 RepliesWhile certainly true, it's fun to be sarcastic and mean in a friendly manner to my friends and those who know me. Obviously, it does depend on who the person is though, such as important conversations and jobs etc.

Being nice is rare in today time. Who to trust or whom seem to speak the truth. But in my time in 20 year you learn even nice can be broken no matter how far you try you'll break. The last you can think is just dont give up when other see your generosity as a threat. [spoiler]you can never have to much good then evil.[/spoiler]

I am generally pretty nice and I try to be nice to everyone. sometimes it doesn't work. people often cross lines, intentionally or not. If it was an accident, I move on. If it is intentional, something else might happen. All-in-all, I have yet to mute someone.

It's hard to be nice to edgy teens, kids who wanna be edgy and late teen early twenties tryhards. Seems like this board and lfg are plagued with all of them. To the people that don't fit that criteria hope you have a great day and win the Powerball.
