Warlocks need a more visual class item than a bond
Marks and cloaks add so much more fashion diversity to titans and hunters. Bonds are pretty much all the same and aren't even noticeable.

Some kind of shoulder plate would be really cool.

Maybe a large shiny helium inflated mylar balloon would be noticeable.

Edited by Black Howling: 11/1/2017 5:29:44 PMI used to say the same back in D1. Something that stands out, like wearing parts of enemies (besides the normal inspired gear) out of ritual. A Warlock's left arm should stand out more with effects and gear (not so much that it blocks out the design of arm/chest gear, but enough to notice). Warlocks are supposed to be the creepy, forbidden magic type of class. Cool as it would be, I stopped bothering because I knew it would never change. It won't change in D2 either.

No. Hunters have capes, Titans have waist towels, and Warlocks have arm bands.

I would have loved for the design team to let that one guy they have that just goes nuts with the designs to have at it. I loved that one bond in D1 that was on fire. The one I have now is just whatever. I could care less because they are all so bland. All the Marks, Cloaks etc are lame in this game imo. What happened? At least there’s room for improvement.

Currently I really don't like the titan or hunter marks so I'm fine with mine being unnoticed.

I would also really like to see Glide brought back to the Voidwalkers Blink jump. Would help make Blink more PvE compatible.

They should have an effect like in halo reach but only on the bond.

Like a ballgag? Bungie could just 3D scan one of their fanboys BDF official membership ball gags and use that. Not sure how well it works under a helmet. Ask Bacon, Lost, Mrbird, meatless,or any other obvious member.

3 RepliesThey need to create Warlock bonds like the old ones, with particle effects (hologram, Arc, Void, Solar, etc.). Maybe even some that extend to the shoulder or down the arm a bit more. On the other hand, if they were to make a new class item for the Warlock, it ought to be something like a shoulder plate with a cloth or sleeve attached to it. They might as well since they've removed the shoulder plates from Warlock gauntlets in D2.

They used to be visually interesting, especially in vanilla D1, where there would be holographic bonds with cool flame/void effects. They’ve gradually been getting less visually interesting, with the decline starting even around DB. In my opinion, the visuals for the warlock bond have hit rock bottom at this point, along with the other class items
