Bungie is far more concerned about balance than fun
This guy nails it. He says almost everything that is wrong and solutions on how to fix the game and bring it back the way it was. Also please bring back machine guns and make new great exotics.

Eight years from now nobody is going to say Destiny was awesome because it was so balanced. I like having two pea shooters (primaries) in my first two weapon slots but I wish they would have added them to the second slot instead of replacing snipers, shotguns and fusion rifles. How stupid imperfections are part of life Bungie. You are never going to create a perfect game for everyone so why not make the most exciting game for everyone instead. Balance blows BUNGIE.

20 RepliesCant have balance AND a looter game rolled into one. Balance will consume any reason for playing the looter half of the game (PVE) and if you make the looter half fun with more powerful weapons, abilities, etc., then you won't have balance on the PVP side. This is always why they should have been separated from the beginning, or at the very LATEST, when D2 launched. If your going to have a unified sandbox, you have to choose one or the other. And I saw from the Beta for this game that Bungie clearly chose the PVP/Balance side. They can't go backwards now, they've built their entire game around balance. Unfortunately, that renders everything on the PVE side pointless. This is why so many people feel like there is no "endgame" in Destiny 2. Because there really ISN'T an endgame - on the PVE side. And that is because [u][b]PVP is the true, intended endgame. [/b][/u]
