Trials of the Nine Delayed till Nov 3rd due to a glitch?
Okay, Destiny 2 is already getting 'dry' the only fun thing I find each week is Trials of the Nine, but it's delayed due to an EMOTE, this emote allows you to phase through walls and areas you shouldn't be in, but there are a few fixes Bungie can do to easily not cancel our favourite game mode (well, mine anyway.) Bungie, you could make it countdown and if the person(s) is in a glitched area the enemy team can just capture the flag, or you can just disable the emote until you fix it, it's that easy. If there is anything I missed please tell me because I don't want to be bored until weekly reset, anyway weekly reset only entertains me for not even a day because I do things fairly quick. But I really don't want Trials of the Nine being delayed due to some stupid emote. Please take note of this Bungie.

Why not just temporarily suspend the specific emote? If it is more than one emote why not temporarily suspend all emotes in the trials? Why stop trials for two weeks?

4 RepliesI don't care if it is cancelled. Trials players are sort of rude, perhaps this is karma, that a bad player ruined it for all the Trialhards.

So tell me this: I'm playing competitive PvP from 2005 almost every day. (CoD's and Halo's) I've played D1 for about 3600 hours! And i can't win a single Trials match in D2!!! And some guys which play Destiny only in the weekend have 100 win streaks? YEAH, RIGHT! Also i live in The Netherlands, the 3rd country in the world with the best internet. So obviously there is a BIG problem with Trials.

All Bungie have to do is temporarily disable the emote but no they haven't thought of that and my forum post is irrelevant lol.

1 ReplyNo one but a Bungie developer familiar with the code could say if something is easy or hard. Some say it would be easy to disable the emote. Unless the code has been written with the ability to disable emotes, it's not easy. No one probably ever expected the need to disable an emote. There is probably nothing they can do that wouldn't take coding. Coding means coding, testing, release, etc. It's not a small effort. Toggling Trials off is easy and quick. Anything else isn't.

I really hope Bungie let us play trials we can just easily report them and have them on record then Bungir can ban them. Or we can make it countdown and just capture a flag, or Bungie can just temporarily remove the emote until they fix it. I really want to play trials today I have nothing to do :/

I am really sad about it too. Please Bungie, change your decision and give us at least Countdown and let us report the players that use the glitch. Little bit harsch to cancel it for 2 weeks. I mean, come on.
