Like if you don't give a shit about micro transactions.
I've never spent a cent on micro transactions in any game, and never plan to. Buy why is it such a big deal? If you don't like it don't buy it.

Very simple, your personal experience does not account for everyone's experience. Not to mention there are tons of issues with Microtransactions. Some the effect you even though you don't spend money on them. For instance, games can be balanced around those Microtransactions. Meaning that the rate at which you gain loot can be adversely affected to create an experience that encourages real-money transactions. If you look at Overwatch, the loot boxes are purely cosmetic but, plenty of people spend money on them. The combination of the gambling like experience and the incredibly slow rate you earn the boxes (plus duplicate items adding an unrewarding feeling) creates an environment where buying the loot boxes is encouraged.

I don't mind them when they affect literally nothing, but when companies themselves affect drop rates for loot (For Honor prior to patches is a perfect example and it's still not great) in an attempt to try and get you fed up enough to buy the micro transactions, that ish right there is scummy af.

The only way I would care is if I was ultra competitive in PvP and it gave my opponents a significant advantage. Since I don't care about D2 PvP, it's a non issue with me.

You know if people dont wanna buy it then dont buy it. If someone has the money to spend then more power to them. Buying the items with silver isnt gonna make a player OP at the start of the game. So why are we still complaining over the same thing back in Destiny 1?
