They would easily kill the guardians once, observe how they resurrect, kill them again, then take out the ghosts. They wouldn't even have time to build supers. Chief is an amazing sniper. Add Linda and Jun in there and they would never have to get close. Most Guardian abilities are close/mid range, and I don't know of any Guardians that are master snipers lore-wise, so I would say Spartans have it covered. 9 shots. 3 each. Wouldn't even have to reload. Hell, if they sneak up on them they could probably catch the ghosts out in the open and would most likely target them first. That would cut it down to 6 shots.

Spartans. The ghosts can be destroyed, so just do that, and Spartans win. Self taught Guardians are no match for Spartans, with years and years of military training.

14 RepliesGhosts are the key to reviving Guardians right? The second a Spartan sees a floating robot accompanying a Guardian it will be shot down no doubt. I'm no lore guy when it comes to Destiny though. Also, do the Guardians have supers at the start of this battle or will they have to fight a long while to gain them? This could make all the difference!

Let them rerelease the original halo trilogy with maxed leveled guardians and custom load outs. I'll play that and then answer.
