Why do you still care about your k/d?
Whats the point? Seriously? Game is almost over. Just go balls to the wall, go all out, have fun.
If you hate this meta just because it hurts your k/d, then stop caring about it.
If you think the game is "slow and boring" now, then get after it. Its only boring because youre making it boring.
I couldnt care less about my k/d these days and I'm having a great time.
Try it. Youll like it.

Eh... I'm proud of my kd. I'm an aggressive player, and attempt to look fly as phucc on every kill/play...cause fun. That I'm able to do so while keeping a positive kd makes me feel like I got a firm handle on PVP, which makes me feel good. If winning is fun to someone why can't you let them mofos live man? If your idea of fun is maybe winning, or maybe losing, have at it. Zero posts about that ish, so back off from us kd lovers. This is OUR fun, and to each his own.

Edited by K1LRR: 5/12/2017 8:06:02 PMI've had over a 3 K/d since day one (and no its not from pubstomping in full fireteams grouped up with 4-6 players all day) that's just dumb....my w/l can tell you that. I started to not care about k/d since the start of year 3 since I play the game once or twice every other week nowadays. You shouldn't care about it at this point anyway since there's a pretty good chance destiny 1 will slowly start to fade away when destiny 2 releases. Just play the game for what it is now and if you don't enjoy it just play something else until Destiny 2. There's a lot of competitive fps games coming out including Quake Champions that's catching a lot of buzz.

1 ReplyThis post was great . I have a 0.93 K/D and my friends don't consider me "bad" because of my "negative K/D". I am not a sweaty. I acknowledge that the game is for fun. I use fun subclasses and weapons such as bad juju and defender. I feel like super sweeties who play the game day-in and day-out don't have as much fun as the people like the fun police who can have a reasonable K/D when not using meta weapons.

There's not really a point in having a good k/d if you're not going to the lighthouse anyway. I usually focus on PVE, especially the raids. I love that shit.

I don't care about that its more or less i don't have fun or if im trying to complete a bounties and quests and i can barely get kills for those things i leave to try and get more favorable results

12 RepliesMy kd is bad in the eyes of tryhards but i challange anyone to a 1v1. Im leathal with a fusion. Only people that care about kd ratio are kids and tryhards. I let my nieces and nephews play on my acct. I have friends that come to visit that play video games maybe twice a yr and they play on my acct too. Point is kd ratio only means something if the player wants it to. Just because its low doesn't mean that .9 kd wont pub stomp your ass and tiny dance on your 1.5 kd camping ass.

2 RepliesI've never cared much for K/D, which is why I prefer objective based games like Control or Rift. But I recognize that many players care a great deal about K/D even if some get a bit carried way with it, i.e.-"my K/D is bigger than your K/D," etc. I agree that most people would have more fun if they stopped caring about K/D but that doesn't sound realistic.
