It's a shame Skorri's doesn't do anything waiting on Supers at the Templar...

36 RepliesYeah. You didn't need to be a Destiny vet of 500+ raids to see that the Skorri's changes would effect PVE players in raids. Often times you are ready to roll, but you need at least a few people to have their supers ready so you are stuck just waiting 4-5 minutes for their super to recharge - and btw, there's no minions to shoot without commencing the encounter so your really just stuck waiting. But of course, all those PVP first players were saying "you have to be terrible not to get 1 kill every 60 seconds..." Yeah, okay, I bet they've never played a raid before.

I agree. Wiping should also reset synth timers. However templar chalange is incredibly easy if you have a good relic runner.

Anyone else have it not turn on even after a kill while supered? In pve half the time it didn't turn on, swapped to a different artifact and back then it did for abit, but I believe it's broken right now

4 RepliesI said it should have only been a pve artifact, like silimar says, "in the crucible...", skorris should have said, "in stories, raids, strikes, and patrols...". Too late now. Better have pve and pvp balance changes separated in D2.

Oh it's true! It's true! Literally all things meant to [b]HELP[/b] PvE players gets shat on due to PvP nerfs! Now unless it's a strike situation, Skorri is worthless! Why was ToM nerfed? Because some trial elitest figured out how to exploit it! Now you might as well use sleeper for your exotic slot on sisters and Oryx!

If anything you'd think they would separate PvE balance changes from changes that were made because of people in PvP. It doesn't make too much sense but I doubt they will ever fix that. Or special ammo.

Start encounter, kill enemies to gain super and wipe before you are consumed by darkness... I personally don't feel that the change to Skorri has affected any PvE activity for me.

Skorri's nerf isn't that horrible, but once again, the nerf was designed to fix something broken in PVP but ended up affecting PvE as well, just like every single weapon nerf that has ever happened before. Do you understand now, how frustrating it is?

2 RepliesI know that the nerf to the Memory of Skorri was annoying, but doesn't everyone do a Super/Heavy run before almost all Raid encounter anyways? If you're going to sit around and wait for your Supers to charge, wouldn't it be better to just start the fight and go for ammo while this is happening? To be clear, I do believe that the nerf to the Memory of Skorri was all due to its use in the Trials of Osiris. However, I do not think such a nerf needs to be complained about on the scale that we are currently seeing, especially when there is such a simple workaround that players have been using even before the Memory of Skorri was conceptualized.
