First exotic Engram drop without 3oC? Not even an Ultra!
What the world is going on? Lucky glitch on my part?

Those guys have always counted for 3oC. Pretty much anything that has a unique name and doesn't have a shield will count for 3oC.

A rare thing! Back in early 2016 when I was a destiny noob, and hadn't learned the way of the 3oC... it took about 2 months to see my first exotic engram, I still remember the excitement! It does happen, but so rarely most think it can't, had quite a few exotics from purples and a couple even from blues since, but that's out of thousands of engrams.

6 RepliesNot the first time for sure. I also had an Exotic Shard drop as a reward from a public event Siva Tank a few days ago on my Hunter. Plus lots of people have gotten Exotics from blue engrams randomly, which can come from anywhere.
