Unique perks for strike exclusives to make grinding keys more worthwhile

Currently, strike exclusive gear grants absolutely no bonuses other than looking cool (or in the some case looking hideous *cough* mark of the undying mind *cough*). The devils dawn sniper rifle, for example, is a great high impact sniper for PvE, but offers no benefits over the vendor Even Horizon. It could be argued that Event Horizon is better due to the fact that it can get various perks for both PvE and PvP, and is much easier to grind for. I suggest that bungie gives strike exclusive gear unique intrinsic perks in order to make the grind worthwhile. Nothing on the level of an exotic, but certainly something that would make it beneficial to use in the strike you got it from. Here are a few ideas I came up with. Imago Loop: shots fired from this weapon over penetrate Hydra Shields Treads Upon Stars: shots fired from this weapon stagger cabal majors/ultras Does Not Bow: this weapon deals 50% increased damage to fallen walkers Stolen Will: Taken major/ultra kills refill your magazine Darkblades Spite: this weapon can switch between solar and arc damage (Year 3 Murmur) Grasp of Malok: Shots fired from this weapon over penetrate hive walls of darkness Devil's Dawn: This weapon deals bonus damage to SIVA infused majors/ultras Mark of the Undying Mind: take reduced splash damage from Vex Hydras Theosyion Vibrissae: take reduced damage from Vex whilst holding the arc charge Cloak of Taniks: take reduced splash damage from scorch cannons Devouring Maw: take reduced damage from exploder shanks Darkblade Helm: take reduced damage from cursed thrall explosions All Flayer Mantles: Take reduced damage from Psion Arc wave attacks Mau'uals Maulers: Take reduced knockback and damage from cabal melees Hood of Malok: You are unaffected by the debuff given by taken blights, allowing you to move at normal speeds. Sepiks Deposed Bond: Take reduced damage from SIVA swarms Mongrel Ogre's Grasps: Deal 50% more melee damage to all red health Hive. Omnigul Bond: Move at full speed through a Hive Wizards cloud of darkness Anathema Canon Mark: You are unaffected by hive detainment traps. EDIT: Seeing all the feedback from you guys is really awesome, thank you! I'm working on coming up with perks for all the ones I missed out (I'll post them soon), just trying to make the perks useful enough to make people want to chase them but not to the point where nothing else should be used. Barons Ambition is proving to be tricky, so if you have any ideas for it put them down below!
