This is EXACTLY how trials should be played. It really shows what team can control the map better and work as a unit. We made it to seven wins for the first time in year 3 tonight and plan on making it to the lighthouse before it's all said and done. THIS is true 3v3 competitive multiplayer.
And not having to worry about guarding orbs is a fckn blessing.
When you're dead, you're dead.
It's so fun when it comes down to 1vs1 and you don't have to worry about revives and that bullsht over shield.
BUNGIE PLEASE NEVER CHANGE TRIALS BACK!
Edit: 1:10 pm Sunday afternoon we claimed ultimate victory.

7 RepliesLove it too buddy only the sweaty nerd r bitch1ng about it because it throw them off cuz they have played 5,000 games with that set up so now it levels the playing field because you have to play it different and they can't stand that it's all based on skill and intelligence. Like no how to flank when u don't know where your opponent is but can make an educated guess. Sweaties r too busy talking about their elo to think.
-
15 RepliesI like it. Nope, never been to the Lighthouse. I'm "old" so you can -blam!- right off if you want to be that snotty little stat bitch that thinks that KDR or ELO has anything to do with relating to the enjoyability of a mode. Nope, I'm not using a shotgun (try Fusions and Sidearms sometimes, ya -blam!-ing lemmings.)
-
15 RepliesThis is great. All these whiney trial's elitists crying cause they can't camp with a sniper. This should be the way trials is done all the time.
-
Bump for rotating trials modifiers
-
4 RepliesRadar has no place in end game pvp.
-
1 ReplyBump for rotating trials modifiers!

Well done mate

Buuump

I cant agree more. This is great
-
7 RepliesI'm all for the no radar, but the no revives is pretty shit. I like the revives. It's created some of the best games I've ever played.
-
3 RepliesNo. The game mode promotes casuality and trials should not be that. Radar should be back but revives should be gone. Destiny has no real sound like sprinting and reloading. You cant hear the opponent at all. It somehow works on this map coz doors everywhere. If that was widows court it would have been absolute garbage.
-
This weekend's Trials settings should be permanent. Let the elitist salt flow for once.
-
I'm not too into it, but that's my opinion. Encourages bad play types.
-
Not forever, but on special week they should change trials up a little. (like have the big maps with vehicles)
-
Um...it's sooooo slow paced, people camp, people hide, if u push enemy they run away, no skill, just hide and seek lol, everyone abusing no radar
-
I'd prefer small arms. As a modifier, not like small arms as is in what the nerds crying have.
-
Like the idea but not map choice as I feel that cauldron is a bit two one sided for my taste.
-
I do like it and for some reason I feel less triggered, probably because it actually takes skill, time and tactics instead of getting pushed with a shotgun and you die. Well I haven't encountered anything like that yet. Also it is giving us variety on what to use. This is definitely good.

Edited by TeppicymonXXVIII: 10/29/2016 7:50:35 AMGreat change to the game for the FotL time, makes it closer to CS which is very interesting. I might give it a try. Too bad that some tryhards commenting here seem to have difficulties to adapt or are maybe afraid of the dark without their radar...
-
Agreed trials like this is all about teamwork the no rader prevents nade spam to an extent, and if you're struggling with shottie users just stick a tresspasser or fusion rifle on.
-
2 RepliesSweaty streamers are incredibly sour on this one lol
-
3 RepliesI'm a 100% sniper, and I actually really like this trials. Picks are so much easier to grab because everybody expects shotgunning. Plus, the lack of revives lets me use the super fast shooting low impact snipers. Ive been flawless already, and I can tell you, just adapt to it, call out, and you'll do great. (Or at least ok (or maybe even really bad)).
Only thing I absolutely -blam!-ing hate about this trials is the damn SPIDERS. Like wtf I see the shadows running across terrain and automatically think it's an enemy shotgunner hopping towards me.
overall it was a nice change of pace. Idk how many times I seen a striker titan shoulder charge right in front of me and makes me shit my pants. With that said, I highly dislike playing hide and seek when you're hunting down that last opponent. this weekend felt alot slower due to not being able to find opponents. shout out to you people that want to get into that cheese spot in yellow room. bastards...... anyways hope everyone enjoyed it for this weekend. Like I said, it was a nice change of pace and it was new and different
-
3 RepliesI really enjoy it how it is this weekend. Super tense and very fun. I don't care if it's a shotgun duel. Had plenty of primary battles. It's a close quarters map. It's got shotgun written all over it.
-
I actually agree, keep it exactly how it is. I really enjoy it, it seems a lot more competitive to me. Went flawless on two characters last night, ran 3 cards and lost a total of 3 games.
