BUNGIE, it should not take 3 hours for a archon forge weapon to drop
Please adress this.all i keep getting is warlock bonds...

Edit: I think im breaking a record here going on towards 5 hours without a weapon drop. I want to see how far i can go. (If there is an item log in destiny please check it).
Edit: Well after over five hours of farming for a special weapon i obtained a vigil with enhanced battery (aka three marks)... Looks like the grind is back on. If there is a 50/50 chance of getting accelerated coils why have my past Five vigil rolls been enhanced battery! Fml wish me luck guys.
Edit: Im pretty sure i have over 20+ hours on the forge and from my journey enhanced battery is just glued on to all the Vigil rolls i have obtained.
FINAL EDIT: i am sorry to say I am done with the grind i have over 20+ hours here at the forge and I dont find the rewards rewarding enough for the time invested.i have heard some people say "not everything in this game should be a handout" and while i do agree I also believe that Forge weapons should not be harder to earn than exotic weapons at this stage in Destiny's life span. Which I believe the majority of people agree with in the comment section. Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and lets just hope Bungie took note.

I think this is the result of a specific weapon not dropping for at least a year or never for some. 3 hours sounds doable

I was in there yesterday. Ran it for a while and had tons of blues, 3 legendary engrams, 2 cloaks and a helmet. Didn't even know weapons could drop 😢.

3 RepliesArchon's Forge has been kind to me.I always leave with my loot overflowing. Yeah,more bonds than anything,but I got a fusion and sniper rifle yesterday.I fill the bounties at the same time and make sure I damage the boss.Pay attention to the middle dome when it closes...if you see guys jump up there,jump up and join them.Damaging the boss seems to help. Archon's Forge seems to reward competition.The more you kill,the more you get. In little over an hour yesterday I bet I ran fifteen Forges and never died or even usrd my super and only grabbed a hammer twice...Killed wave after wave,always got in on the boss and got a few drops above my light level. A little tip...the boss is EXTRA hard to kill when it gets outside the dome,which I think is why so many jump in the dome...I don't think it's greed so much. I watch,and if everyone stays away from the dome I do as well,even though it means almost certainly not killing the boss(usually I'm running around trying to revive everyone while they keep dying constantly) If there are dome jumpers then I get in on it.Go with the flow.

2 RepliesPfft kid. I have over 200 archon's forge completions. 150 which were ones I started. I've had about 5 But Not Forgotten and about 3 Saladin's vigil. And I have gone 2-3 hours of farming with no weapons or exclusive gear (not counting the random class items) Just grow up and work for what you want. Ehh, sit and play for what you want I guess. Can't really call it working.

However I recently tried to transfer the sniper from my hunter to my titan via the companion app and it diss appeared. I'm beyond pissed but it appears that there is nothing I can do. I've since been grinding my ass off in the forge to get it back with no success. F THAT APP!! Edit. I went back to the forge last night after. Early giving up on getting it back and got it to drop! Moral....don't give up! Granted it doesn't have the best rolls but I'll take it!

Your luck really sucks. I've gotten 3 snipers (one of each element) and a saladin's vigil with max stability to drop along with tons of armor for my titan.

Dont know what my completions are at but I have gotten about 5 snipers 5 fusions full titan armor set almost full warlock set and the hunter chestpiece. I cant imagine that I have more than 100 completions so its not terrible.

How long should it take? Its RNG, could take 3 minutes, could take 3 days, that's what RNG means.

7 Replies179 Forge victories.. I'd say 80 or so of my own Siva offerings in that. I've had 1 fusion rifle, 3 sniper rifles, 4 or 5 armour pieces per character, and 777,777 class items. Drops are generally junk. Drop rates are trash. Archon's Forge has been very underwhelming in that respect.

2 RepliesI have found that you have better drop rates when you're the one putting in the offerings, or if your fireteam is. If you're just running it with a bunch of randos not partied up you'll have a hard time. Though I will say, 98% of the time you'll get a bond, cloak, or Titan buttflap.

We really need more loot. Not sure why they thought it was a good idea to drop the TTK gear, but doing so has really limited our reward options. And Blues need to start decrypting at higher light levels
