In a discussion, it becomes very confusing, sometimes even in context, whether someone is talking about the Sunsinger's gauntlets, or the Titan's Subclass. It's also rather perplexing that Bungie chose that name for the Titan's subclass, essentially breaking (no pun intended) their naming convention. It would have made more sense for it to just be called Breaker, or something a bit more related to the subclass's abilities or main function.
On the other hand, the Sunsinger's gauntlets could perhaps better benefit from a name change.

Striker, Defender... Berserker? I could get behind that.

The ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Gram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) test that progressively gets more difficult as ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) continues. The 420 meter ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) test will begin in 69 seconds. Line up at the start. The running ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) speed starts slowly but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal, “Oh yeah Mr Krabs”. A single ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) should be completed every time you hear this sound. “Dat boi” Remember to run in a straight line and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) before the sound, your test is over. The ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) test will begin on the word “( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) “. On your mark. Get ready!… Start. "Airhorn"

3 RepliesI agree so much. Sunbreaker is a dumb, cheap, and uncreative name that doesn't even sound cool at all. I would have LOVED the name Crusader, it would have fit the Hammer of Sol subclass so well, and syncs well with Striker and Defender. Nightstalker goes well with Gunslinger and Bladedancer. Stormcaller goes well with Sunsinger and Voidwalker. Sunbreaker DOES NOT go well with Striker and Defender. Just imagine the 'Crusader' and his/her flaming Hammer of Sol!

It would have to be the exotic warlock gloves that get the change because if you changed the subclass that would mean having to change all the subtitles, voice acting.
-
Did you know, the "Sunbreakers" were originally called Crusaders? Not sure why they changed the name though.

4 RepliesLets see . Titan sunbreaker is talked about . Warlock sunbreakers useless . I dont see a problem

Edited by TitanKnight: 8/13/2016 10:15:27 PMEveryone thought it would be Titan Crusader, but no, we got this atrocious name instead. Makes sense, Striker, Defender, Crusader. But Sunbreaker? God that's awful. I call them crusaders regardless.

If I had to guess, Sunbreaker (subclass) was originally called Crusader, but before release they were asked by Activision to change issue to sensitivity reasons, and rushed for a different name.

Just call it Michael bay mode

#nerfsunbreaker. I'm not telling you which.

2 RepliesI always thought 'volcanic' in its title would've fit a bit better, considering you would normally associate flaming hammers with that Greek god that forges with them.

Edited by Zelrons: 8/13/2016 3:00:31 AMIt isn't the first time they used the same name twice you know. It was just the most apparent.
