No man's sky...no multiplayer = no buy!
Well no man's sky is dropping soon. I've been watching some videos and reading some reviews and I'm really surprised this game is not multiplayer. 18 gazillion planets and stuff and they want you to explore this vastness all by yourself! In this day and age I have to say, what a dumbass move. Does Hello games think their making a fallout game??
I know there will be hate thrown here (and that's fine) but don't you think this game would be better as a multiplayer game??
Put your vote up and let's see what everyone thinks. I can't be the only one to think this.
Edit: just read an article that said there is zero chance of seeing someone and how the game is NOT a multi-player game. What a shame!

4 RepliesLack of multiplayer or lack of single player should not make or break a game. Example look at Fallouts, they are successful yet are single player only. Overwatch is a multiplayer only game and that is hella successful.

You go to a random area In some random place where nobody lives, your chances of seeing somebody else are slim. However, if that place is eventually populated later on, then no explanation is needed there. This game is about exploring new places. It will eventually be more multiplayer than just single exploration. Just give it time. It was even mentioned that a party system will be implemented later down the line.

11 RepliesEverything i've heard the game is multiplayer. It's not intended as multiplayer and the chances of you running into another player as slim to nill, but if you ever do run into another player you will be able to shoot and kill them.

I would understand an option to party up in this game if you wanted but I don't think we should be forced into interacting with other players. Then you get doosh bags who just want to troll people.

The game is multiplayer, but the devs have stated that the chances of meeting another player are so low that it might as well be single player. Happy hunting

Even if it meant crafting something very expensive in order to do it. I've been interested in the game ever since I heard about it, but I've to be honest the more I heard which was basically how many planets it's got over and over again, I've been less and less interested. But no realistic way to play with friends was the final straw for me. But it's their game and they want you to explore alone, so that's that unfortunately.
