Bungie should look into adding exotic faction weapons, I think it would add some new flavor to the mix.
As well as adding some more incentive to rep a certain faction.

2 RepliesNot to mention weapon foundry exotics. An omolon laser cannon Similar to sleeper stimulant. A Hakke single shot, super sniper 1 shot magazine Very high impact Headshot damage is multiplied by 5 Suros, well, it already has the regime...
ANYWAY, yeah, faction exotics bump!
Random exotic faction bounties, why not?

The one New monarchy exotic hand cannon mid rate of fire Perks final round and monarchy( 2 lucky rounds that do bonus damage and if you get a kill it refills the mag and grants explosive rounds) Bonus perk can equip another exotic weapon with this weapon

7 RepliesEdited by CheckOutThesePythonsDoc: 7/27/2016 4:14:57 AMEye of The Monarchy Exotic Scout Rifle "They may not know it, but our eyes only see order." Exotic Perk (Intrinsic): Monarchy Munitions- This weapon fires using New Monarchy-colored rounds, and does bonus damage on the final round of the magazine. Perk 1: Triple Tap- Rapidly landing three precision shots will move one round from your reserves into the magazine. Perk 2 (selection): Perfect Balance- This weapon has increased stability. Snapshot- Aiming down sights with this weapon is incredibly fast. Extended Mag- Increased magazine size. Perk 3 (Exotic): Flair of the Monarchy- This weapon does increased damage to minions of the Darkness, as well as members of other factions.
This is coming from an ex-New Monarchy member, what do you guys think?
1 ReplyI am rank 44 dead orbit on my hunter. No exotic yet but I'll keep trying!

2 RepliesThis sounds like a great idea and I think a way to have people work even more towards the leveling up of their factions they could make it so that with a certain number of levels gained per faction say five or such it would allow you to reroll the perks for the weapon such as the reroll in the house of wolves. Because the reroll would only be available on these three exotics weapons and only after a certain number of level ups would it be available it would eliminate a lot of the problems centered around rerolling as a whole.

3 RepliesEdited by Anedime: 7/26/2016 5:09:29 PMWhatever gives me a reason to care about factions. I'm 137 with New Monarchy, there's just nothing It can give me now. Even packages are useless. They also need to drop some Y1 NM weapons into those packages, like the scout, fusion, rocket launcher at least. (Obviously do the same for other factions)

2 RepliesChug bleach- dead orbit, pulse rifle, exotic perk, CLOROX, ends all guardians near all the time every time.

A new exotic sidearm would be great

5 RepliesAs a Titan whos been bent over the sink with class exclusives, I'm wary of exclusive weapons in general. Watch war cult get some garbage machine gun with a tiny magazine- then DO and Monarchy get some sweet reactive reload shit.
-
I love that idea. But instead of having it set and only having one option I think you should get a choice. Like maybe have 3 or 4 possible choices depending on your preference and you get to choose which you like best. Maybe each faction has a choice between a hand cannon, a pulse, an auto, and a scout rifle. So that way I won't have to use an exclusive weapon that I don't like and I'm not used to. And they could share the same base traits perk wise. I'm really hoping the stuff I saw talking about exotic faction gear is true. They're supposed to be adding some ghosts sparrows and ships possibly that can earned from factions.

4 RepliesFuture war cult gets and auto rifle, Dead Orbit gets a hand cannon and New Monarchy gets a scout rifle.

I'm all for exotic faction weapons, but I don't want them to be usable only while pledged to a faction. Knowing my luck, DO will get a really cool weapon (to appease deej and his 14 year old fan base) and my titan and warlock won't be able to use it because they're too good for DO. My hunter can pledge to DO, he's an asshole anyways.

1 ReplyIsn't No Time to Explain the Exotic weapon for FWC? I still don't have Class Items...
-
4 RepliesDead Orbit Auto rifle and sniper Future War Cult Hand cannon and fusion New Monarchy Scout rifle and shotgun Can't decide if they should have actual exotic perks and be equipped one at a time, or have okay perks and have the ability to be equipped along with their same faction counter part
-
2 RepliesNeed to fix so every slot can be exotic with weapons and gear and needs an exotic ghost ☺
-
Just as long as it doesn't look like that stupid-rubber-looking-gimp cloak that FWC has for the Hunter. That thing is repulsive.
-
1 ReplyWhat if at rank 30 for each faction there was a primary, a secondary, and a heavy. Dead Orbit has the primary Future War Cult gets the secondary and New Monarchy gets the heavy. All three of these are exotic and can all be equipped at the same time but only with eachother not at the same time as any other exotic weapons

I love the idea of Exotic Faction Gear!! Huge bump on this! Totally great idea of being able to go after certain weapons or armors within your faction, and only being able to equip them IF you are supporting that faction at the time.
-
That would be cool. I currently have the exotic NM titan mark & the exotic DO hunter cloak; I'm currently working on leveling my warlock with FWC for the exotic bond. My only issue would be that I'd hate to have to be aligned to a certain faction in order to use a certain exotic gun, like how it is with the class items. If only DO offers an awesome exotic scout rifle then I want that on my titan, but I don't want to give up my NM mark for it.
