I don't see it do anything to anything except to guardians. What do you think?

It's just an weak explosion from my experience, if it does any damage to Golgoroth, it's unnoticeable. So unnoticeable it looks like it did nothing. ~TheGreatNike

14 RepliesI like to have the unstable light when golgoroth dies. I run at my teammates and kill them.

i haven't even played the raid
-
No damage at all, only kills team members

1 ReplyIt doesn't. Just for fun, my raid team decided to test this one day. We got Golgy to practically no health. We then proceeded to get unstable light 7 times in a row and hugged golgy with it. No damage. We then shot him with Gally for fun and killed him.

I'm pretty sure it does.

Only way to find out is to not shoot him. You can see where this is going so I'll leave it here.

10 RepliesI am glad you posted this- 'cause someone told our fireteam this a while back so we always run at him with our unstable light- but I've never seen the confirmation that it "does a lot of damage" to him. Last week he actually stomped me when I was doing this (the first time it had happened), and I lose out a lot of Black Spindle shots- so it would be nice to know if it's actually worth it or not.

2 RepliesYou have to detonate it on his back to make it do noticeable damage.
-
If you can detonate it on him while you have the pool buff and a tether you can do a crazy amount of damage.
-
I think it used to do damage, but they fixed it

1 ReplyA simple screen shot from anyone would answer this, but seems people would rather argue.

1 ReplyYour bullets do

1 ReplyCan I please have this. I would use this against all AFK players in Strikes and Crucible.

2 RepliesNo,Its acts like steroids for a guardians will, which is actually how we do damage. We use our will through our weapons to damage creatures
-
I like running at golgoroth for the light anyway because you know no other teammates will be there. Rather than running off to the side where other people might be jumping to get out..
-
I don't really know. I've heard yes, so I always do it. One good benefit is that if you're quick you can run to Golgoroth, blow up, run back to the aura and get in a few more shots. Because its closer.
-
you can test it by not shooting him, getting unstable light, and blowing up on him. after that just wipe.
-
It does about 100k damage to him which is far from a lot.
-
Even if it does, it's not even a noticeable amount, I assure you.
