Okay you can snipe, but can you shotgun?
I'd think it's fair to say by now most of you main that God roll long bow/1000 yard stare you finally got to drop. And yeah, you wreck with it. No big deal anymore.
[spoiler]to those who aggressively snipe and never seem to miss, hats off. That's a lot more of a challenge and my preference of load out.[/spoiler]
But it's so rare to find someone now who can really make your jaw drop handling a shot gun now. Shot guns and are very easy to out play now that the range was cut in half and shot package being removed. In my opinion, excelling with a shot gun is much harder to do now. And I'm not talking one maybe two kills I mean that gunslinger putting you down over and over rushing you non stop slaying your -blam!-ing team.
Just my opinion. Really most of the threes I run is nothing but primary or quick scopes. Who's still running into the sniper lanes after all this time??

I'm an aggressive sniper and rarely miss, but I can shotgun pretty well too, Universal remote and Sniper will be a new loadout for me.

Shotguns are easier to become competent with but harder to become proficient with.

I can't snipe, but I respect the skill. Shotguns have always been my pvp sprcial, and they feel a little lack luster these days, but whatevs. ARs are titties.

1 ReplyBeen a sniper since day 1 (and no, not with 1ks, long bow auto aim and the likes bs). When the thorn bounty started dropping I tried so hard to be good at shotgun, but realized I would have to drastically change how I played in order to get it done. So once a very nice plug one.1 void fusion dropped for me, I gave up trying to shotgun, and haven't tried again. So to answer your question, I can snipe, but no, I can't shotgun

Mained snipers in year one and started with shottys when I got the Twilight garrison and just use that now to rush and I've gotten pretty good at it. My game dvr has since been full of clips lol

Well theres your mistake. Gunslinger is one of the worst shotty subclasses. Nightstalker striker or any warock subclass can -blam!- entire teams with a shotty. I do it all the time and its not even that good.

I use nlb and either a Jabberhakke/Party crasher/Vacancy. Can confirm sniping is easiest.

I main NLB and a shotgun, normally a fast rate of fire one (warlock main) and can normally outgunned people in most games ( granted my last few gave me those beautiful get -blam!- spawns lol)

I use both, depending on building. I can say that I use both of them effectively.
