If you could travel forward or backwards in time what would you do Flood/Offtopicians?
Would you change something in our/your past or would you see what the future holds?(for example).
Edit: We are all aware of the risk of the butterfly effect and paradoxes etc. that we assume will happen based on our current understanding of time and space. That's if we travel back in time of course. However for this question maybe try and and think outside the box?

Edited by Lynx7386: 4/13/2016 4:11:17 PMTravel to the ancient past, bringing enough tech with me to convince my primitive ancestors that I am a living god. They would build cities to glorify me, and harem to please me, and all who opposed my rightful rule would feel the pain of modern Firearms.

2 RepliesWell after dabbling in history for a bit (I'd love to see the creation of the universe but the whole paradox of going back in time before there was time kinda ruins that idea) visit Da Vinci,Mozart,Boch, Newton,Einstein etc I'd go to the future. See how far we get and see what causes our end if it's something that can be prevented with 'Action' then I would attempt to prevent it but if it's a natural end then so be it. I would like to see if we come up with a extremely efficient/near limitless means of energy and if so bring it back to solve the worlds energy problems same goes for world hunger and other world issues. I'd also delve into some future history (see what wars happen or if any plans are laid that laid that lead to peace and come back to introduce them earlier hopefully ending any conflict before it begins.) I may also skip just a few years into the future just to see how me the wife and kids turn out and change things in the present if they aren't good.

1 ReplyEdited by banned: 4/12/2016 7:47:50 PMI'd go to the future not the past. To many butterflies going back but if you go forward and come back to the time you left everything should be ok. I'd love to see the tech and also see if we as humans make it.

I wouldn't do anything because that would cause a time paradox and destroy the universe.
