I have to say I wasn't expecting a lighthearted, two sentence greeting to turn into a raging theological debate. As a great man once said "that escalated quickly! "
As easter has now passed I assume this thread will tail off. However as I started the post I thought I would give my 2 cents and try to calm things a bit.
I personally don't belive in god, however I don't know everything and am open to the idea of their being a god. What I am absolutly sure about though is that an all knowing, all loving god wouldn't demand to be worshipped or appeased by murder or sacrifice. And wouldn't be constantly testing our worthiness and torturing any who fall short for all eternity. All he would want is for us to do the best we can and lead a happy and constructive life. And that's what I try and do anyway.

Religion is such an ugly thing to ne honest they promote peace and unity but all it does is create chaos and division. And im not talking about just Christian im talking about every religion out there. Of course Christianity is the most popular in the U.S so its hypocrisy is the one I see the most but im sure every religion is just as bad. A great example of hate from religion is the hate they spread unto the gay community because their bibles according to them it claims to be a sin! The funniest part is this Christians claim to be righotus when they do the opposite the bible tells them to do. The bible clearly tells them not to judge when they go around calling gay people names and telling them they'll rot in hell! Another example is the bible tells those who follow it to help refugees and those in need and Christians in America are the first to bad mouth Muslim and Islam calling it a hate religion and refusing to help those that need refugee when clearly their book said to help those in need.

They dont want to stop they fun, or be in subjection to the evil they commit. I wonder how these low to the ground these people would feel then. But then again, balance is the problem with this game anyway, no wonder Bungie are always fiddling with the PvP of this game.
