What is a Sandbox Update?
It may be Noobish to ask, but what is a Sandbox Update exactly?

The sandbox refers to everything available to the player on a macro scale. In this case, Bungie often refers to the sandbox as the weapons, gear, items, and scaling/balancing within Destiny.

Sandbox = open world i.e patrol

Sandbox is bungie speak for how the guns works if you look at earlier gun updates you will see they refer to them has sandbox changes
