Bungies "Roadmap" lol
They claim to have come to us with breaking news about the future of the game. Too bad they only gave it to us because activision forced their hand. Everything in today's weekly update was pretty much a direct quote from the activision earnings call this morning. They aren't listening to us. They aren't giving us answers because we asked for them. All bungie is doing is trying to cover their asses after activision dropped more about the future of this game in five minutes than bungie has in 5 months.

EDIT 3: 150+ comments. Let's make sure bungie sees this and knows that we aren't blind to what has been going on.
EDIT 4: Now Bungie is going to give us a free 320 ghost shell one day after they tell us that the light level is going to be raised. Even though the ghost shell is going to be irrelevant in a short period of time people are still praising Bungie. Does that make sense to anybody else?

6 RepliesInteresting they own Candy Crush. That report does say what was said, and if it was just released then that's why they told us what they did when they did. Let's be honest though, how many players are going to look this up? They could have not said anything and left the info in that report, but less than 1% of the community would have looked it up. I like the game, but not enough to look into the publishers quarterly earnings update.

We knew there would be a Spring update, we knew there would be a larger DLC later this year*, and we knew that Destiny 2 would be in 2017. * I'm not saying they announced a big old update - and I confess that I was almost beginning to think they might not do it - but as bad as their optics have been lately, they couldn't afford to [i]not[/i] release a big DLC in 2016. Plus, the leaked info about "Comet" and all that jazz.

2 RepliesOnly thing i dont like is that it was super vague, and knowing bungie/activision, you have to expect some loop holes in those words. Like bringing the rest of y1 exotics up to y2 and saying their new, timegated exotics, reskinned old gear and calling them new. Just look at factions. For the hunters dead orbit gear is CE gear, FWC is vanilla gear and NM is HoW gear. This to me is not new gear, bringing up old raids to current power level is not new gear. Love this game but i just cant defend it in its current state right now.

Did you ever even consider Bungie wasn't allowed to say anything about future content until Activision solidified it in their earnings report? The BWU came out directly after the report obviously they were forced to WAIT. So try to defend yourself with something other than "omg what a frickin desticle lol"

3 RepliesThis is a pretty good representation of the entitled gamer; someone who thinks that they are at the center of every business transaction, and that their wants and desires should be met first above all else. Do you not understand that Bungie isn't allowed to release any information until Activision gives them the ok to do so? People need to get through their minds that Bungie is just the little dog, and Activision is the leash chaining them to the wall. Activision makes the calls on when and where money, content, and PR goes. Bungie just has to sit quietly and do what they say. I'm not saying that Bungie is all sweet and innocent in the corner, but they get a lot of blame and criticism about things that they have no control over
