Crimson Doubles Feedback Poll
What do you guys think of the Crimson Days event?
Personally I believe this is the least inspired event since launch. The bounties can be completed in a few hours and the loot is still RNG bound, meaning those who are missing that 320 Ghost could theoretically play throughout the entire week and still not get their needed item.
Additionally, there is no matchmaking for the event. This makes zero sense to me, as the event does not have light level advantages. It's an event for fun and to get loot. It's like going to a Valentine's Day dance stag and being forced to dance with one person. One dude that is....weird.
Also REALLY wish there was something for PvE players besides Hotline Blinging the Warpriest's dead body.
Not my cup of tea. Thoughts?

For me, I hate doing Trial of Osiris. But even that is more fun than this game type. Should not have been elimination. They should have made an objective based crucible event. Those are always fun. The not spawning with special ammo is broken too. To get around it people are using icebreaker and invective so it makes no difference. I got domed by a kid using icebreaker before the special even dropped in round one. Then round two comes and everyone has their special and back to sniping at each other like the old days. Not a well thought out change. Also for some reason when I visit a tower vendor all I see is their feet, not the person.

1 ReplyBad idea for it to be elimination. Once a member dies, the other team sits on the down player's body. Also, Doctrine of Passing needs a serious nerf. You don't have to be good to win with it. Crimson garbage.

1 ReplyThe only issue i had with crimson doubles, is 1: thorn users still able to 2 shot walk away with a 170 light gun. 2: using the icebreaker too loop hole the "no special ammo in the beginning of matches" 3: theres only 2 shaders? And 2 ghosts? Come on bungie. I want weapons, armours, Cloaks, a bettet buff. Other then increasing upgrade rate for all weapons??? We have mote of lights for that. 4: the fact that out of my 30 matches, all i faced were icebreakers, thorns, last words, mida's, invectives. These guns we all used not for fun, but too just make trying to have in crimson doubles, a waste of time. 5: the fact that half the people who get the heartbroken buff literally run farther and faster then forest gump, just too waste time. 6: and last but not least, all of that work for the unknown rewards quest. Just too get a 2015 emote? Like come the -blam!- on guys xD thats pathetic. I was expecting something. You know. Useful?? Crimson doubles was a great idea, but there are too many small things that can make your fun day of playing, into stress and anger. Cx i had my piece pf doubles for today.

I really dislike PvP for the most part. I can't stand trials of osiris. I am disappointed crimson doubles is just trials of osiris minus 1 person. Everyone playing it seems to be all suited up in trials gear as well so i stand no chance. They need some substantial pve content. I can't wait until fall/winter for destiny 2.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about. I run into campers and all that but you just have to figure out what they do every time. Hell, I'm using No Time to Explain and I'm only like light level 305 playing with my brother who is barely 290. I love this game mode. It doesn't put a ton of stress on you with having to watch your back for 6 people on the opposite team. You don't die immediately after spawn and the matches are still short. All in all, I think this is one of my favorite game modes of crucible. You can just sit back and relax.

I voted other to see results. I have no intention to play it. Play plenty of crucible but this is just nothing in terms of the game mode and nothing in terms of rewards so no thanks.

I need a drop for it to mean something. I need something worth my while. I have had a 320 ghosts for weeks. That's not enough a reason.

1 ReplyThis event is blowing up the forum with complaints, it's even beating out the lack of pve complaints and the fact that this game lags like hell even after "improvements". Maybe this time Bungie will take notice as Deej and Cosmo both are getting down voted on their posts.

Only things I didn't like were all the year one weapon users and the quest was really lame

It's not new content as it's just a rehashed mode with a decorated tower and a close to zero chance to get a 320 ghost. On top they chose a mode which is probably the least favorite among all players. Instead of creating an event for the whole community they made something for the ToO tryhards that will trash all newly found couples.

2 RepliesNo good drops yet, but it's been pretty fun. There's quite a few kids trying to cheese the no special ammo on initial spawn. Can't just earn it like everybody else.
