Deidris Retort or Conspiracy Theory??
Any thoughts on which is the better choice for PvP?
My Deidris has:
Tier 1: Smooth Ballistics,
Accurized Ballistics
Soft Ballistics
----Life Support
Tier 2: Single Point
Oiled Frame
Reinforced Barrel
----Surrounded
Conspiracy Theory:
Tier 1: Smart Drift Control
Field Choke
Aggressive Bullets
----Rangefinder
Tier 2: Fitted Stock
Hand-Laid Stock
Will of Light ( if only were there taken players)
----Performance Bonus
I'm leaning towards Deidris because of all the range it has, and we all know damage fall off is a female dog. And I have no idea how much Rangefinder actually boosts your range. If anyone that's privy to this knowledge could chime in would awesome.

Your conspiracy theory-D is better than your Retort. If your Retort had rangefinder, it would be the better shotgun.

I have both with full auto and like them both different burns on them. They really feel the same to me. I use them in pve I find Jabberhakkē to be better in pvp.

I only believe in impact with shotguns. Rate of fire would be the second most important base attribute- IMO.

Neither of these. Get the vendor CT-D with rangefinder, rifled barrel and performance bonus. Range of 31 out of 32. Range is the only thing that matters with shotties. But performance bonus is also nice.

Deidris' Retort is good, but I compared the two in a couple of PvP games and noticed that because of its impact being slightly lower than Conspiracy Theory's that it manages to lose at slightly longer ranges. However the Retort can fire faster so you can fix your mistakes really fast if you don't kill them on the first shot

7 RepliesBoth.... conspiracy theory d wins with impact and the basic one usually has slightly better range but my iron banner shotgun is comparable in range with slightly less impact and a better rate of fire and it isn't even that great of a roll. I have it on my hunter if you care to look at it.
