The daily heroics are more rewarding than the weekly nightfalls
Im sure it's not just me that thinks the nightfalls are utter worthless now. What happened to them dropping exotics or just giving good loot in general. RNGesus really sucks at his job

In fact i did the nightfall this week and i got 10 motes of light i wouldn't mind strange coins but MOTES! C'mon fix the loot drops in the nightfalls; oh and one other thing bring back the Y1 strikes into the nightfalls they are to a lot more funner than Y2 strikes
Funny thing is that it's not just the nightfall's loot that needs a fixing it's the crucible and the kings fall raid. Im sure I'm not the only one who gets false hope when they see a purple engram when finally killing a boss. You expect a gun or some sweet raid armor but what do you get? An antiquated rune! I think i might go on to warframe honestly so i can feel rewarded.

Also, what you hope to get for nightfall deems other items worthless to you but not someone else. You see, I'd love to get motes of light over an exotic. As I don't need any exotics. See?

Can we go back to the reward system for "The Dark Below"? I remember almost always getting at least one or two exotic items when doing the Weekly Nightfall with each character but now I can pop a 3 of coins and still not get an exotic piece of gear.

They were valued somewhere between blues and purples in Y1 and now I feel like strange coins are blues and motes are somewhere between greens and blues. The nightfall is a difficult activity that you can only roll 3x a week. It should be consistently giving me legendaries with a chance for an exotic and a chance for an emote package/sparrow package. Nothing else. There are SO MANY ways to get strange coins, motes of light, blue drops, 280 ish legendary drops. Nightfall is the place to rise above the other activities and reward the player base for going above and beyond. We are beating the missions you designed with additional difficulty modifiers. If the loot is the same as activities without those additional modifiers than we feel cheated. I could lose 100 matches straight in crucible and get exotics and blues. Nightfall should be different (Shaxx bounty too).

At some point didn't bungie say they would change the drop system to give you a better chance of receiving items you haven't gotten yet. Or was that just exotics...either way I don't think it worked

It is pretty bad when what was considered a bad Nightfall prize in year one, e.g., 19 strange coins, is now better than most Nightfall rewards in year two; thanks Bungie!

Everyone agrees that all drops need to be much closer to our current light level. I am 315 and mostly get drops of 265, not rewarding or helpful at all. Please pass on the community's wishes, the same theme is in multiple threads across the forums.

They want you to grind and get nothing. I don't want to grind and i don't want to get nothing. So either way i come away unsatisfied.

1 ReplyDid the daily, got 15 marks. Did the nightfall got a pair of 303 gloves = 3 marks. Daily was 24 enemies killed. Solo nightfall was 265 enemies killed.

Likewise, levelled drops need to be more of a thing. Forever 319 is unacceptable given promises made and needs addressing badly. I would really appreciate an update on current thinking regarding this. To make the nightfall relevant I would love to see the return of the weekly buff - perhaps even just faction specific for the week? Lifting nightfalls to end game difficulty to give non-raiders some endgame content might be nice too.

I got a rock last week, & I am sure I will get another rock this week. At least I will have 2 rocks then. Or maybe just stop doing Nighfalls & then I wont have any rocks what to do what to do?

5 RepliesFalse hope when a purple engram drops? More like no hope. After reaching high enough light and collecting all the exotics that aren't mission specific, no engram that drops will decode into something worth keeping.
