Has any drop in How or TTK felt as good as your first gally drop?
I can't think of one drop or game achievement that matched that feeling.

I felt more overjoyed when i got my first Hawkmoon. It took me almost the whole yr to get it. Sad thing is i don't even use it out of spite lol. A big F***YOU to rng

Yup. Mad RNG for my Titan and Hunter yesterday on Hard Mode Oryx.

Getting zhallo felt better than ghorn because ghorn became a hastle to get and I got zhallo the second week of TTK and was the gun I wanted most so it just felt better

I think the black spindle came close to that feeling. But I knew what needed to be done so the surprise wasn't there. Unlike gjallarhorn when it randomly dropped after doing something. That was the best feeling because you could hope/wish for it but couldn't guarantee a drop.

A had 310 zhalo drop from a legendary primary engram. That was awesome

I never had Gally drop in yr1 sadly. But getting a replacement Helm Of Saint-14 as my first armour exotic was pretty good. As well as Terminus 317 on my first hard completion. Not too shabby, but won't compare to when I get NLb yr2

Nope, Y2 exotics are unremarkable and way too high maintenance.

I didn't know what Gjallarhorn was when I got it, so there was no hype. I remember getting hyped for my ruin wings though.

Got my first vex and gjally in one drop...will never forget. Now im on my 29th vex. I always put a mark on my white board when one drops :)

First Gally didn't bother me. I was more excited for my first Crux because it took me a while to get that

I can't think of any drop in y2 that felt as good as that first gjallarhorn drop . Ahh shoot force feed them bosses them rockets :)

2 RepliesSo close to 500 replies, looks like for the most part gally is king, vex, exotic sword, and oryx helmet are popular choices too. And only one OP is comment, I think this is the most well behaved I've seen the forum.

My first or second nightfall ever gave me Gjallarhorn. I had no idea what it was or how good. My first Hawkmoon though? I was elated.
