Has anyone beat court of oryx tier 3
It's so mother $%&#@$% hard its unreal, went in with a 303 , 300 and another 300 and still can't beat it , any tips?
Ok folks finally got a good fireteam of 4 and we kicked his @££ 6 times in a row. Anybody needs help on this I'm here
If you get a good group with lots of Runes you can walk away with 40-50 engrams after 1 hour of grinding

I was attempting T3 with 4 randoms, and we failed twice before jumping in a party together. We established the sword bearer, and told everyone to use LMGs to take down crotas shield the first time. A super can be used if you ran out of lmg ammo. Beat it 4 times in a row after that.

I solo'd it within three attempts last night (granted it was very close as the last possible hit killed him). With a full patrol fireteam you shouldn't have any issues. Best weapons are launchers and Telesto.

I've beaten him 4 or 5 times this week, the mini crota is a joke. Would've been more, but there's always that random guy that thinks he's the best sword runner around who runs and grabs it, and either dies or only gets a few hits. They need to do something about this, the last 3 Antiquated Runes went the same way: some random stole the sword when it dropped (EVERY SINGLE TIME) and then would spaz around with it and get nothing done. Haven't been so frustrated with anything PvE in a long time lol I mean I know I'm not losing my rune, but I just want those rewards lol.

Beat it fairly easy actually. I think we had 4 people? None of us were 300+... 4th horseman destroys that swordbearer, nightstalker super causes extra damage to baby-Crota shields so his shield drops super quick. Did it in 2 swords.

Yes, just have a team of 3. I've been playing with the same guys since day 1. I'm also the sword bearer for Crota so it made it that much easier.

If you have done the dark below crota raid, this should be a breeze. Last weeks was harder. Had to figure out the process. Wonder if next week will be a min aethion

Pretty easy almost did it with one sword. Machine guns seemed to work better for getting his shield down not sure how other people did it though

A guy kept doing it with me and my fireteam there, we kept losing. I sent him a message asking if he has any friends to invite because the 4 of us weren't cutting it. He left.

Beat it with 4 players ranging 290-300 last night... like 4 times in a row (one player had lots of tier 3 runes). Initially ignore Crota's Fanatic Clear ads kill sword bearer have team members drop Fanatic's shield (note that Hunter tether really helps the shield drop fast) have highest light member grab sword and R2 Fanatic. usually swords last long enough that you can drop his shield twice. with a 300 light player wielding the sword, we only needed one sword each run.

The T3 boss is basically a mini Crota. You take out the adds including the Hive Knight who's holding the sword. Have your group take down the boss's shield and have someone or yourself take the sword relic and slash and smash the boss while he's down on his knees. Back off the boss when he's getting up and repeat the process.
