Why did they ruin our ghost.
I can not bear the sound of our ghosts now. Not only are the tone's jacked up in the wrong places, the legitimate feeling behind what ghost sounded like before made it seem like you were there!

3 RepliesWe need voice packs as DLC Like Morgan Freeman, the old Ghost voice, Master Cheif, Cortana, Arnold Swartzinegger, etc... That way so we all can be happy with the voice

We've woken the hive killed it from the start. The only new line I live from the new ghost. Was tollen wasn't much fun at parties. That sounded great in the new voice.

I actually like the new voice. I really hated dinkle's performance. He's so dull and boring. He had literally no expression in his voice and constantly whined.

The new voice is bad for the old dialogue. It's pretty great for the new dialogue.

I like how all of year 1, people moaned about Dinklage's performance as Ghost.. And now in year 2 they want him back. People will always complain. I liked Dinklebot but I have warmed up to Nolanbot now. I suppose with the addition of humour and personality in TTK, Nolanbot fits in more than Dinkle would've. And it was a wise choice by Bungie since Dinklage isn't always available but North does this as a living.

Personally, I absolutely hate the new voice. North's rendition either sounds like bizarrely creepy "homosexual pretending to be a whiny child" or a completely irritating whiny child who has the nerve to tell ME "well done" when all I want is to smash it. I've now turned the sound off, and play with captions enabled. I'd much prefer the old voice back... even if there was no voice for any of the ttk content.

Absolutely [b]HATE[/b] North's appalling "slimy creep pretending to be little-boy" whine. Have to play muted now. This is where silver would be useful. I would pay for a choice of ghost voices.

7 RepliesThey changed it because everyone on the forums said dinklage sounded like a robot and a mindless drone. Funny thing is, the ghost is a robot and mindless drone.

I think people came back and changed their votes. I know I hated the new voice at th beginning but now....well except for "We've woken the Hive" NolanBot is waaaaaaaaay better.

Peter Dinklage was not available for TDB or HoW so they decided not to continue with him. They had to go with someone more reliable and available for voice acting

Even though it is all the same lines it just feels like the actor is trying to hard to copy the old voice and emotions. Or maybe they just re synthesized it, either case it's just plain horrible. Please give us our old ghost back!! Or at least an option to choose what we want! This game is after all..... for US!!!!!!
