I've seen so many threads about
"___ takes no skill"
"___ is OP, nerf pls"
So I leave you with a discussion question:
What do you think DOES take skill in this game?
What is NOT OP?
EDIT:
We have over 150 replies! Please continue discussion while I'm at work. My phone is getting flooded with notifications. I'll get to read them once I get home.
EDIT:
Over 250 replies and still going strong. I really didn't think it would be that popular. But oh well. Let's keep rollin'!
EDIT:
OVER 450 HOLY -blam!-
EDIT:
*checks post count*
550 something
*refreshes to double check*
560 something
*throws confetti*
EDIT:
Casually just passing the 800 milestone. Can we continue? Or is the thread Burning out?

Nothing in destiny takes skill. They're even nerfing the nightfall, lol.

Skolas takes skill, no save point to try later, must survive in a gladiator fashion, no boons to save you and op weapons will only get you so far.

Trying not to track down and physicaly harm elitist keyboard warriors. There only so many comebacks I can come up with before the red mist descents and I need to hit something.

11 RepliesMIDA takes skill. Really any scout rifle takes skill. Any sniper rifle with below 50 aim assist takes skill. (I'm looking at you bozo's who use shadow of veils,Patience and Time, and Her Benevolence with hidden hand) Using a fusion rifle effectively takes skill. Using any auto rifle effectively takes skill. Blade dancer takes skill to know when to pop it. Hawkmoon takes a decent amount of skill. Throwing knifes take skill. Contrary to popular belief, High impact pulse rifles like The Messenger, Hopscotch Pilgrim, and others do not take skill. Come on man, their two burst to the head with sniping range. Thorn doesn't take skill. TLW doesn't take a whole lot of skill. No shotgun, don't care what it stats or perks are, takes skill. Blink doesn't take skill. Grenades and Horseshoes rockets definitely don't take skill. Rockets in general don't take skill. No super except blade dancer or maybe sunsinger takes skill. Final round doesn't take skill. Hunter invisibility doesn't take skill. Let me know if I missed anything.

6 RepliesSkill is relative I believe skill is something is used in real life And when it comes to video games. Someone is just "good" or "bad" at them That's my take on it. It's a video game. Not real life so I don't let it really get to me

Edited by DSharp018: 8/31/2015 10:34:56 PMIt takes skill to go flawless on all story missions 3 levels above you using only starter gear. And not selecting any perks for your subclass.

Beating PoE without using any arc weapons, without using any shot gun, ghorn, black hammer, ice breaker, hunger of crota, any final round sniper, no sunsinger on the team, no defender on the team and no Bladedancer on the team. When a person does that then they have skill
