will bungie reverse the 2.0 updates
Seems like many people do not like this update.
So will bungie change or reverse the update.
My guess is no since they never listen
Edit: I think thorn nerf was good but rly guys the update has some major flaws like nerfing fusion rifles again and nerfing icebreaker, Gally and blackhammer.
You say they listened but no one asked for those nerfs.

Hasn't turned to it as to a trusted friend in times of stress, only to have it save my life - and raid experience. Too many hours staring at charts and graphics don't compare to a 3 character career. So they're cutting the legs off my best friend will I feel the loss? You bet. And The last Word, seriously? As soon as there's anything good in the game Bungie suck the fun out of it. Oh yeah, the Taken King will be a blast all right - until the inevitable nerfs come calling. What's the point building up a new gun collection only to have the rug pulled from beneath your feet again a few months down the line. If something is awesome you can be sure it won't be staying that way. No I'm not buying the DLC, I judge them on their track record and learn from the past. They've had two good chances, if I let them fool me again - then the only real fool - is me. 10 November Fallout 4 arrives, and I can't wait to explore a true next generation open world hostile environment. Where you can build your own settlement and collect parts to craft and upgrade your own unique guns and scopes. And my new best friend? A dog who'll explore with me, fight beside me and obviously fetch stuff. Sounds like a better way to spend some cash and I'm in the UK, so it comes for about the same price as TTK dlc. There's just no comparison. I don't hate Destiny, and I will check reviews for Destiny 2 when it's out, but for PS4 and XBone owners I think this game is done. It plays on last gen consoles for a start - Why do you think I'll buy it Bungie - for the price you're asking? It's a slap in the face with a bag of nerfs rubbed in. For those of you determined to stick around there's a glimmer of hope, with barely half the traffic, there'll be much less lag, [b]just don't trip over the tumbleweed while you're on patrol.[/b]

We asked for more balance and that's what the update intends to do. I think bungie could soften the blow on the nerf of ghorn by making the enemies less bullet spongy but even if they did that they would still need to nerf the damage a little. It's too good. You saw that chart. No other heavy even comes close. Buffing them wouldn't be a smart move because it will just lower the time to kill and make all content feel shorter. Plus if you really think about it there is nothing wrong with the other heavies. They get the job done too but ghorn is so obviously more powerful it makes no sense to use anything else most of the time. The logically thing is to bring down the damage. But even with this nerf I bet ghorn will be the most powerful heavy in the game. It just won't be so powerful that you won't even consider using other weapons.

Well considering about 5% of the community actually use these forums. I wouldn't say everyone is against this patch based on these boards. I for one am 100% for it.

6 RepliesJust because no one asked for the nerfs doesn't mean they weren't necessary. The reason black hammer, ib, and gally are being nerfed is becauae they have become a PvE meta which should never happen in a loot based game.

I don't think they will, especially the pve changes to ib, bh and gjally. The weapon class changes may get tweaked a bit over the next 7-8 weeks but I don't think it will be much.

I don't think they will ... Why would you play a game for 10 years using the same guns? The other thing is the weapons needed to be re-adjusted. They really did and be honest here. One thing, bungie created this mess, and are trying to fix it. A good example is gjallarhorn, they removed it from Xurs loot table and created this sense of importance that made everyone who did not own one, OBSOLETE. And then they nerf it .... Good job (sarcasm)

They won't reverse them, but that doesn't mean they won't revise them. We just have to wait and see.

Would be kinda silly to nerf things that are annoying and not nerf things that are straight OP, but convenient ;-) Icebreaker is bullshit, but the rest? Justified, in my opinion. And why the fusion rifle nerf? Well, once the shotguns are nerfed they don't want everyone to go to fusion rifles. They need to be on a similar level but with different purposes, not one being dominant once again. Therefore the f rifle adjustment ..

Bungie has a shit-ton of data that they sorted through. The community at large has nowhere near it. Bungie is making the right decision. When you get older, you'll realize that sometimes the things you want aren't the things you need, and you'll realize that sometimes when you disagreed with the adults in your life (parents, teachers, etc.) you'll realize that they were right and you were wrong. And why does nobody ever talk about the amount of buffing that this update's gonna bring?
