Having the ram doesn't make you tank a golden gun shot. The only way to do that is to have radiant skin perk and for that you need to sacrifice self resurrection. If you look at armor ratings, warlocks have the lowest of Titans and hunters, the ram brings warlocks up to armor par with hunters which is still slightly less than a max armor Titan.

Warlocks can have their stats configured for high armor and recovery with slow speed, combine that with the Ram, and you will survive things others cannot.

You must have had a shield from scorch Melee or revive. Otherwise pics or it didn't happen. The armor that it gives you is not very significant. Aka you can still 2 shot someone with a red death if they have the ram
