Because warlocks can be a little squishy depending on your build and the ram helps balance the classes out. And you don't have to say the same thing over and over. Just say it once.

You mention that it helps balance the classes out, but warlocks already have a formidable array of abilities and can be set for both armor and recovery without the Ram. It just seems strange that warlocks can now serve as tanks on top of everything else. Oh and sorry if I repeated myself, typed this in a hurry.

Your good. No problem. In most games warlocks or the wizard type class has always been able to dish out large amounts of damage but not take a lot in return. But now that this has been applied to a shooter. Things change. If one class is stronger or weaker then the other then people will want to play the better one more. So I see this as an attempt of Bungie to even things out. But clearly hasn't worked out.
