I agree, and it is bannable. Wether or Not they do it is something else entirely. But exploiting a known glitch is against the rules.

Then Warlocks that "cheese" the bridge by wiping and self-reviving to despawn the enemies should be banned
-
Doesn't look like it is bruh lol. They put a band aid on it and that's was it.
-
You are an idiot.
-
So what you are saying that if I equip a grenade and some armor, it's against the terms of conditions of destiny? Makes sense to me! Smh
-
If you equip scatter grenades with Young Ahamkara's Spine while wearing a helmet with Asses to Asset you are exploiting the glitch. Why on earth would your wear Young Ahamkara's Spine without tripmine grenades?
-
Cause they look baller, and some people go for looks. There are too many variables at play and too many reasons a player could use to get themselves out of this situation. No one is getting banned for wearing armor that's in the game lol.
-
So you are saying that someone who is running swarm grenades while wearing a helmet with Ashes to Assets and an exotic that clearly benefits Tripmine grenades just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. What must happen: Must run Hunter Must run Gunslinger Must wear helmet with Ashes to Asset perk Must wear Young Ahamkara's Spine Must ignore Exotic Perk Must choose Swarm Grenade over Incendiary Grenade. This is what I hear: Honest officer I was minding my own business and walking down the street in my ski mask (why because I prefer ski masks over ballcaps ) I saw a gun on the ground and thought I would go into the bank to see if it belonged to anyone, how was I supposed to know that two of me friends where robbing the bank.
-
I wear knighthawk as a bladedancer....
-
Good on you
-
Game mechanic....
-
It's not....b/c you don't have to get kills which is what the perk says....thusly glitch. Plus you don't even have to hit anything at all....glitch.
-
Leaving games in ToO is a game mechanic too. Look what happened.
-
wrong, bungie has explicitly stated that leaving games and AFKing in games can get you banned...
-
Changing characters to avoid losses is what got them banned, not a game mechanic
-
It most certainly is, it is a menu menu item that is available i.e. game mechanic. They did not unplug or alter the game in anyway
-
Changing characters is an option in the game. So it's technically a game mechanic.
-
doesn't matter what title you want to put on it, Bungie has stated explicitly in several ways that AFKing in crucible and strikes, as well as quitting out of games, are both bankable offenses if done repeatedly. Look at one of the most recent updates where they say that they have noticed people leaving once they see the other team in trials has the emblems.... never have they said if you use swarm grenades with th helmet you used your materials and XP on you will be banned... lol thats just silly... i don't even use the glitch, and have never tried it, bit honestly people, all of this about a grenade that won't kill you 99 to of 100 times1??? how crappy mist you be to keep getting killed by a swarm grenade, its on of the worst int he game!!!
-
I believe the point is that the grenade was activating the perk on damage and not necessarily a kill. Which rapidly filled super energy to have near unlimited GG which in turn gets plenty of kills. Personally I cannot recall getting killed by a scatter grenade.
-
Exactly, it's patched now either way so now why isn't anyone talking about what's really breaking the game, the thorn!?????
-
Because everybody that is using it (I am not haven't even leveled it)
-
It not counting as a loss is not a game mechanic. Swarm Grenades counting each individual shard as a seperate grenade is.
-
It not counting as a loss is not a game mechanic.
How does that work if it is not a game mechanic?
