the user should never ever ever be banned for doing something that is the company's fault. Sure they are knowingly doing it, but are they using a device to cheat (lag switch) no, did they manipulate the game in any way to achieve this glitch? NO. This is 100% bungies fault, not only for letting it happen and not having the foresight or intelligence to see and prevent this, but also for not rectifying it within minutes of finding out it exists. You should refocus your post on the true problem here, bungie. Nobody invented this glitch nobody manipulated the game to make it possible. Bungie in all their incredible wisdom introduced this glitch to us via those armor perks and were incapable of doing their job and preventing collateral damage down the line.

  • Then do you agree with banning people who back out in ToO in orbit?

  • I don't, but I do believe that you shouldn't have the option to back out. ToO is a competitor environment. Sometimes you need to take your lumps.

  • I don't agree with banning. For bungie's fak up. They just need to patch it, so if you back out. It counts as a loss

  • I don't agree with banning, b/c this is bungies mistake. And honestly its not entirely wrong to do, you've seen stuff like this in other games where teams say "-blam!- that" and back out to look for a better match up. You see it every in life really. So this is also an oversight but the game developer, bungie

  • I agree with Urban, and he probably put in the most simplest terms and you still didn't get it. You can't get banned for Bungie's mistakes. That just doesn't and will not ever make sense

First off I'm 28, second off take your own advice. You can't seem to interpret what I said. It's never ok to cheat, but nobody is cheating here.... (is it wrong to do, YES, is it cheating, No) bungie overlooked this when they assigned those perks to that armor. I'm saying all you butt hurt children should be blaming them not the people who are using what bungie designed..... holy -blam!- how dense in the head are you?

  • Leaving a game during the loading screen for ToO using the character log out exploit, which is there for people to use and designed by Bungie, is considered cheating. The people who back out get no loss or win. The people on the opposite team get a win. Tell me how this community thinks that is bannable, but not the hunter situation?

  • Well I can answer that easily. It isn't bznnable because bungie designed it to allow for that. Again this is bungies fault and no one elses. A bannable offense is manipulating the game via a 3rd party device to gain an unfair advantage on other players. Simply logging out isnt. The game design allows for you to do that, this is a lack of foresight on BUNGISS part. Don't you understand what I'm saying?

  • So, sounds to me like neither are bannable.

  • correct! this would be like your governing body for your state highways putting up speed limit signs for 80 mph then ticketing you claiming you were speeding, going over the state limit of 65 mph. Everyone needs to look at bungie (the governing power) since they caused this. Again I want to make this clear, everyone who is exploiting this glitch is in the wrong, morally. But they should not be punished in any way from bungie by simply playing the game and taking advantage of bungies oversight.... I know its annoying, cheap, childish, make you want to break your controller and rage, but it is bungies fault so direct that rage at them...
