It SHOULD be....but itd NOT its not a bug or a glitch....its a game mechanic bungie very poorly put in the game.
Ashes to Assets stacks per armor piece
Scatter grenade breaks into many pieces
Ashes to assests says "doing damage with a grenade increases super energy"
The problem is that EACH PIECE of the scatter grenade registers as its own grenade. Thats a shitty mechanic bungie put in the game.
So instead of doing damage with 1 grenade the gsme thinks the landed 5-8 grenades....its a real cheap move. Technically not cheating or bannabble

Actually the text on ashes to assets says its per "grenade kill" The problem stems from the each individual scatter grenade doing damage & counting as a kill.

Exactly. My point is...the grenade and perk DO NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY. They do not work as intended. People wont get banned from using this setup as it was provided to them by bungie

I knov what it says. ...thats not what iit does though....look carefully into some of these perks and barrels...some descriptions so (increases stability) yet if you equip it stability gets cut in half

It's actually supposed to trigger on kills, not hits. Anyone who thinks that they won't be banned over this will be very disappointed.

No one was banned for any of the following - pushing atheon off edge - pushing templar off edge - despawning enemies at bridge - climbing off map to kill deathsinger - using warlock glitch so everyones health would regen in crota fight - heavy ammo glitch - using warlock glitch to have infinite specials - using swarm grenade to get special Why was no one banned? Because all of these are bungies fault. They are simple mechanics. Using a grenade provided to EVERYONE IS NOT BANNABLE. BUNGIE SHOULD HAVE MADE THE DAMN PERK WORK RIGHT IF THEY DIDN'T WANT THIS. This glitch has been here since day 1. Its just shitty players just started exploited it.

Everything you just referred to is pve content. Bungie has banned people over pvp glitches before. They'll do it for this one.

If you didn't break any of those rules As shitty and unfair as it is. Using a weapon that works incorrectly is not bannable. It will simply be fixed so it can't be done anymore. They broke no rules. Tell me which one of those rules listed in bungies banning policy that says using grenades is bsnnable? Cus technicslly that's all they are doing. ..not modifying or changing anything

The heavy ammo wasn't working as intended. People were banned. This glitch isn't working as intended. People will be banned.

You cant bsn someone for using a grenade...not if they didn't change or modify any content in any way. Its all right there in the game as a game mechanic. You get banned for backing out because its a damn tournament...your opponents are random. You do not get to pick and choose who you want to play.

Except that using a glitch in pvp is ban able. They've done it before. Think of the heavy ammo glitch, the self res glitch, and even leaving pre game. They'll ban people over this glitch, too.
