Is this helmet available in RNG?
The ISTANU-GNT Razor helm for the Warlock was the first Crucible legendary helmet you could get from Lord Shaxx and it was my favorite helmet. Unfortunately TDB made it obsolete and I made the mistake of dismantling it. But with HoW letting you upgrade with etheric light I want to find this helmet again.
Which brings up an interesting topic: should the Vanguard and Crucible vendors circulate gear they've had in the past? I think it would be a great idea.

Run tiger strikes. If not wait till ttk. FWC will have the nerigal savant helmet(with the fwc logo though).

I want the old gear back just to get Nergal savant and some guns I miss. But I have the OG iron banner gloves and bond which makes me a little happy

It sad to see all the cool old armour go. I know that personally I'm disappointed that I can't ascend my full set of old dustwalker armour because I dismantled it for vault space... :(

This game would have so much content if engrams chose from the whole pool of that color instead of the current replacement I mean expansion.

Edited by Anedime: 7/11/2015 5:35:30 PMThat's a vanilla helmet, the only way that you can get it is run tiger strikes and decrypt the blue engrams the game gives you AT THE END of the strike. Your chances are 00.01% I completely agree the old gear should be circulated, in fact even the armory shows all the vanilla armor and weapons as "occasionally sold" by their respective vendors crucible/faction/vanguard, I want a lot of things from the old days but bungo -blam!-ed us over with the dark below.

Here a trick if you get a bunch of kills and do the most damage to the boss you are almost garented a legendary in tiger strikes ethier im lucky or i found away around rng i use gally for the boss battle

Tiger Strikes apparently still have a small chance at dropping engrams with pre-DLC gear. Gonna do some grinding to see if it's actually worth it myself.

Yeah it was cool, Obsidian Mind is the same without the spikes, I loved nerigal servant aswell.

You can do vanguard tiger and open the blue engrams u get as a reward to hope and get it from there
