When I was new to Destiny I thought...
What was your noobish mistake? Mine was thinking that AR's where better than hand cannons.

Dismantled all my queens armour/weapons because I needed ascendant materials/shard

8 RepliesEdited by Enigma: 6/7/2015 7:40:01 PMI used to think that other players could pick up my engrams and steal them from me, so after every kill I would run to the enemies dead body and slide around to get any engrams. I would slide into a Hydra right after killing it only to be blown up and all I could think was "Ha I was the fastest".

When I was new to Destiny I thought, that after the free trial in russia to LVL 7 the game is only gonna get better... I enjoyed it but it was nothing like I imagined it to be, unfortunately.

Took me a good while to understand that if you upgrade gear the light level goes up. I sat at level 28 for the longest time looking for higher like gear. Then they released a update min/max light level... Ahhh

2 RepliesAlso took me the longest to realize that element type on weapons meant it took down the element shield of the enemy. Felt like all the puzzles came together when I found that out lol

Not buying the Gjallarhorn from Xür during launch week and thinking Suros Regime was the godly gun.... Biggest regret I ever done did in Destiny... Lol

Chose the invective bounty over thorn because "I didn't have an exotic special weapon yet".

At the start? I'd take hand cannons over assault rifles lol. But commonly you would think assault rifles are a good all around choice, not so much anymore.

I'm a Christmas noon (boo hoo) and the first and only pulse rifle I've ever used was coiled hiss with full auto (for those of you who don't know, it has a high fire rate). The other day I got hopscotch pilgrim and wanted to test it out. I pressed the trigger button and held it down and it only fired one burst. I then died. TL,DR: I thought pulse rifles were auto rifles.

I thought that hand cannons were just glorified revolvers. Didn't really see how you would want such a small magazine size for a primary. Boy was I wrong.

On my first nightfall I got Gjallarhorn and I was disappointed because I thought it was like god don't want me to succeed. I almost dismantled it.
