Was almost kicked from VoG Hard as a level 33
I was a level 33 joining a team of 34s and as soon as they saw I was only 33 they told the fireteam leader to kick me. Fortunately they saw that I had a 365 Mythoclast and they let me stay. But what I'm trying to get at is how does being level 33 make a difference in VoG if the hard mode is only level 30. Being 3 levels over the level cap is completely fine.
P.s. I'm pretty sure I heard that being 33 or 34 makes no difference because the damage you do caps out at a certain point to prevent you from Insta-killing everything.

4 RepliesHard vog makes no difference being 30 or 34 Crota hard on the other hand there is a huge difference being 32 and 34 and even 33 because bungievision make the mistake of making the enemies a level above the level cap. Same goes when the next installment of destiny when we get to 36 and skolas will be a super bitch.. He already is a bitch and is easy to kill with solar no level advantage makes them a pussy

Lol I don't know might have been because we were -blam!-ing apoumd and laughing with the shiniest connection ever 2 people from France 1 from the UK and 2 from the u.s not sure we're the others from but all of us were 34 and we couldn't get passed the confluxes Too funny talking about what McDonalds and mc chicken is in French

Edited by Th3Element05: 5/29/2015 12:43:18 AMThe only advantage you get from being any level higher than 30 in the Vault of Glass is your actual defense stat (which amounts to virtually nothing) We ran VoG at level 29 back in the day, we were lucky to have a level 30 to carry the relics. These morons who require max level (or any level over 30) have no idea what they are doing and they don't deserve your help.

You do get more defense from the higher light level armor although you dont deal more damage.

7 RepliesKrispPlum66 is the epitome of a dreg. The lowest of the low. I'm calling whoever this is out for booting me at THE VERY end of the nightfall. I mean a TINY sliver to go and I got booted. I was with the group the entire time. I honestly didn't deserve it. AT ALL. My stats were better than the third player and I messaged him. He didn't get booted. I followed up with a message with just one word; "Why?" No reply. Then I got more aggressive- without cursing, and voiced my distain with a following message. No reply. I'm just shocked at how entitled people really are. I'd NEVER do this if it wasn't warranted. Why ruin someone's day? To feel powerful?? What excuse is there? I realize this will get buried in the forums, but in case anyone is bored, maybe message this special someone for me and brighten his day, or at least try to avoid him. Whatever... I'm NEVER joining a group anymore. Host from here on out.

1 ReplyYou are right. Damage cap at lvl 30. You can still take more damage at lvl 34 than 33 etc but can do no more damage at 34 than you can at 30 in vog.
